Great, authentic Mexican food. We don’t have an abundance of that in Charleston, but we certainly do have a handful of places to get it. I don’t think I’d rank this one of the best, though.

This is the most delicious and only Mexican food restaurant that we will eat in the low country. Originally from CA and TX and this place is worth the drive. Highly recommend the salsa, tacos, and burritos. I don’t have pics because none of the food stays on the plate for long enough around my family. Also, don’t get the salsa if you can’t handle heat.

This place is conveniently located right next to my house and has really good food at really great prices. They give you good portion sizes, too. I hardly ever have to wait, and the workers are always so sweet. I’ve never had a bad experience. Fast, friendly, tasty.

This food is absolutely amazing! Very delicious! The interior the building is clean and well kept. Nothing inside sticks out as extraordinary but they’re definitely aren’t any negatives. While the food is amazing, the pricing is a little high. However, it still worth it.

Lucy was grandma cooking authentic – we ordered a lot of food and everything was delicious and freshly made to order.

I really wanted to enjoy this but unfortunately we had a bad experience. The California burrito is nothing like the picture, no actual French fries and no guacamole. You get these tiny little chip like fries, very disappointed. My quesadilla was also extremely greasy and just got hard to eat in the end.

I ordered my food online and it was supposed to be read at 5:02pm. When I arrived I was told not ready yet and then waited inside the restaurant until 6:17pm when my food was finally ready. Waiting over an hour for food that was supposed to be ready is crazy. I was not even offered an apology. I really hate this because I’ve tried this restaurant on 4 separate occasions and have had a similar issue each time. I hope the establishment can fix this issue in the future because the food is good, but not that good. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning for a 5th time.

What could be better than authentic Mexican at a reasonable price? In an area saturated with run of the mill Mexican restaurants Lucy’s rises above the crowd. Their little seating area makes you feel like you are ordering right off the streets. The taste of the food makes you feel like you could be in Mexico. It is definitely a local favorite of those that work on Joint Base Charleston. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention that their burritos are bigger than your head!! From the street taco’s to the mofongo(my personal favorite), Lucy’s will not disappoint!

They need a bigger restaurant to supply the demand instead of having everyone waiting forever. The girl at the counter needs to learn customer service skills.

Stop looking at places to eat right now, you have to eat at this place. Hands be down best Mexican I’ve had and all of… Well really ever and I’ve been across the California and back. Certainly the best place I’ve ever been in South Carolina hands down.
