Great location with lots of potential. The margarita was average, tasted like a bottled mix and I received a small instead of the large that I ordered. I’d just order a tequila and soda with lime next time. The table I was sitting at was falling apart. The food is served in a to-go box even though I didn’t order it to go. I guess they get the food delivered from a local Mexican restaurant. It had a weird cheese sauce all over the burrito that I wasn’t expecting. I think they would do better just serving cold cut sandwiches, salads, cold sides and shrimp cocktails rather than mediocre Mexican food from down the road. Weird management style. The server did her best for what she was working with. The owner could really step it up here by putting forth just a little more effort and pride into their establishment. I’d go back for a drink but definitely not food.

Great venue on the river for a relaxing afternoon of drink and food. Sadly, they were fairly busy while I was here and the service was less than acceptable. Lots of potential for frequent visits, but the speed of service needs to improve. Hoping this was a fluke and future visits improve.

Great location on the water. Well out of the way from Athens. Decided to go on a Wednesday so the crowds would be low. Luck was with us. Great bartender who kept our glasses full. Good beer selection, pitchers available. Ladies enjoyed the mixed drinks. Free Bingo on Thursdays – have to go back. Menu is mainly Mexican food out of El Padron (Russelville – Google 4.1 rating). Food was OK. The real highlight is the afternoon sun and the water.

I had no idea how serene and quite beautiful at sunset it was. 5 stars at the Barge!!! We ordered a drink and even food which is shuttled over I believe by my favorite restaurant El patron! It’s a reduced menu but everything by them is fab!. The entertainment was live and really good music. They got the crowd involved and I thought we may break out in song together but we did not. Hoping for a sweet Caroline or family tradition experience next time. wonderful time check it out for sure for a sweet date
