Came and tried the new Hawaiian/Chinese fusion BBQ plate–so unique and don’t know of anyone else offering this in the KC area! It was delicious, the chicken and short ribs had excellent flavor and were tender. The Katsu was very fresh and crispy and the homemade macaroni salad added a nice creamy element. It was delicious and a huge portion! Will definitely be back

We have been eating here for the past 20 years since the first owner. I went there yesterday and realized that there was a new owner again. Foods are not same taste. The amount of foods are a lot. Might try one more time.

Best kept secret in Chinese cuisine! A great place to eat on a Friday night when you don’t want to fight the crowds. Intimate atmosphere, great servers and great food. Everything we had was wonderful… can’t say enough good about this place! Will eat there again next time we’re in town. 11

This place is unassuming from the outside, but the food is absolutely top notch Chinese take-out, i got the Ma Po tofu with pork and it was incredible. The crab Rangoon are also the best I’ve had in KC, I don’t know why they’re so much crisper and meatier.

Take out, my sweet sour chicken combo meal was barely edible. Chicken was dried out and stringy, batter was overcooked, fried rice looked like white rice w soy sauce only. I have noticed since they changed ownership decrease in quality w increase in prices. Time to move on.

The whole situation of food, service and atmosphere reminded us of our experience in San Francisco ‘s Chinatown. The spices in the main dishes were amazing. We will be back soon.

Food was 5 stars, service was 1 star. I Waited 40 minutes past when they first said the food would be ready. At that time I just asked to straight cancel my order. They said ok and went in back and did not come out until my order was ready. Normally I chalk this up to kitchen running behind except I saw two couples walk in, order, be served their food, and given their check while I was waiting. I only order two entree’s. I will not order online or over the phone again.

Started with crab Rangoon and egg rolls and both were excellent. Then enjoyed the fried rice and General Tso’s chicken. Also delicious. Food was ready for me to pick up quickly and packaged to go!
