Best food around. An unusual location, well hidden treasure in Bossier City. Many drive by not knowing about this hidden gem. A friend from Farmerville took me there after a karate tournament years ago. The prawns were awesome, and so was the moo shoo pork. All sauces are created from scratch, not bottled except for soy sauce.

Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals absolutely delicious! You would not believe the location, very shady area, the motel does not look like the best upkeep, once you walk through the lounge area and take a left to the restaurant, BANG! You’re in another WORLD. This restaurant has been written in the NY Times, in a french magazine, and known for their wine collection. The food was delicious! If you get to meet Bill, the Oscar fish, he makes you feel wanted, not sure if he is looking at me as a meal or he truly wanted me to be his friend! Great experience to check out.

Went on a little adventure to the Lucky Palace in Bossier City. This hidden gem is a James Beard Award nominee, Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast awards winner that is nestled inside a seedy motel. Once you get past the lobby of the motel and open the door of the restaurant, it’s night and day. The restaurant is charming with an impressive wine menu. Not to mention the food was delicious. Michael called it a “national treasure”.

The atmosphere was very welcoming. The wait staff was attentive and acomodating without being obtrusive. The food was delicious. They were sensitive to my Vegan choice and accommodated me. There were appetizers already there and not just spring rolls. I will revisit.

Its not fair a restaurant this good is hidden away in a old hotel. With an incredibly extensive wine selection and awesome food, many years ago we would call and mr Lim would know my order by caller id alone. I miss him, he was a great person to talk to. If you ever get the chance don’t pass up this great hidden jewel.
