This place is very unique. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. The fried mushrooms were awesome, and the onion rings were easily the best I’ve ever eaten. The house steak with the bourbon glaze was truly delicious. The mac and cheese was super cheesy, creamy, and absolutely delicious. The cinnamon apples were very good and just enough sweet for a nice dessert. The chicken fried steak was great, and the gravy was amazing. The overall atmosphere was super friendly. The place is a little bit of the main road, but if you’re looking for a truly amazing steak, this is the spot. It’s definitely worth a stop. If we’re going back through the area, we’ll be without a doubt making a stop here again.

I hadn’t been in a long time and now I’m sorry I waited so long. The chicken sandwich was juicy and crunchy, just right. My onion rings were yummy too. The service was fast and friendly. The fried jalapenos were the BEST I’ve ever had.

Food was good. It just wasn’t great.Service was very good and is the reason for the rating. I had the ribeye. It was seasoned well but could have been a little more tender. Average selection of beers. The show was cancelled due to inclement weather. I will definitely try it again.

Amanda hands down the kindest most professional server. She makes the Lucky J my favorite steak house bar none.

I ordered the ribeye dinner. I had a baked potato & a Cesar salad. The steak was cooked perfectly but they really need to season the steak more. Barley had any flavor so I had to salt & pepper it a lot to get it to taste better. & the onion rings my wife ordered were like onion straws. Not so good…

Our first time visiting Lucky J. Food was good and reasonably priced. We had 11 on our ticket and it didn’t break the bank. Steak was cooked the way I ordered it, and no steak sauce required to eat it! After dinner we enjoyed the barrel races, which was a neat experience. They had some really good riders. Overall I would recommend Lucky J for a good family experience.
