This gem of a restaurant deserves nothing less than a five-star rating. From the moment I entered, I was greeted warmly by the friendly staff, and their impeccable service continued throughout the entire meal. Lucky Chinese Restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. The menu is extensive, offering a wide array of traditional Chinese dishes along with some unique chef specials. Each dish we ordered was a culinary masterpiece. The flavors were vibrant, the ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was impeccable. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes, such as the General Tso’s Chicken. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring that no one left the table hungry. Moreover, the prices were quite reasonable for the quality of food and service provided. Nice and friendly Chinese restaurant. Food was hot and fresh. I have never been soooooo stuffed in my life! It was highly recommended by a bunch of people on Facebook, so we had to try. So far this is the best one I have found in the area. We had chicken fried rice and sweet and sour chicken. They provided condiments and even put cardboard on the bottom of the bag so our food would not crush on the way home. A++

Gordon Ramsay would applaud this restaurant, this was the best Chinese food I have ever tasted in my whole 16 years of life. I personally believe that if this restaurant was more publicly known, it would be starred on the Food Network Magazine. People who give this amazing, astonishing, outstanding, astounding, bewildering, perplexing, confounding, stupefying, and shockingly good restaurant anything less than 5 stars, then they are clearly not experienced in the world of exquisite Chinese food.

Lucky Chinese Restaurant in Vermillion was my absolute worst experience w Chinese food everrr. The lady didn’t understand English when I called so that was irritating. I get there, waited 10 minutes for her to acknowledge me (I was the only one there). Get the food n I ordered 3 meals but they made n charged me for 4 cuz she clearly didn’t understand my English when I called. Still charges me cuz they already made it but gave me a whopping $2 discount. My general tsos tasted like no other general tsos I’ve ever eaten nor was it good. I ordered it w vegetables n literally got 2 tiny pieces of broccoli. The egg roll was gross n the fortune cookie was stale. N to top it off, place was gross n extremely cluttered n was absolutely no counter space. I will neverrr eat there again nor do I recommend anyone going there. They should shut that place down.

Today was my first time visiting Lucky Chinese restaurant. I ordered a small chicken lo mein and General Tso’s chicken. The food was fresh and portion size was very generous, I’m very satisfied. I cannot wait to come back again, I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

I got the bourbon chicken and my girlfriend got chicken and mushrooms. I’ve had bourbon chicken plenty of times before and this one has no taste what so every. Same with hers. I also got fried rice which seems they have replaced the fried rice with some kind of yellow rice which still had no taste. This use to be my favorite Chinese place in vermilion.

Was without a doubt the worst Chicken Chow Mein I’ve ever had. Absolutely NO taste to it, was brown in color, and that’s a first for me. Thrown straight in the garbage. The only positive was the egg roll was good.
