It has been hard to find a Chinese food restaurant/take-out place in NW Indiana that compares to the suburbs in Chicago. Have been trying them all to find a go to place. While this isn’t a total replacement it’s the best one I found so far in the area. Next to the bank it caught my eye so bought dinner and have gone back for a 2nd time now since haven’t found anyone better yet. My order got done extremely fast. We ordered Beef Kow, Mongolian, Beef, crab lagoons and pork friend rice. See my photos.

I’m not sure how people eat here and enjoy it. The portions are small, the shrimp in the shrimp fried rice is unseasoned and barely cooked, the sweet and sour sauce tastes generic, the egg rolls taste like they are from the frozen section of a grocery store (y’all know what I mean.) I paid $15 for a dinner special sized tray of general tso chicken. The overall taste and portions are the worse in the area. I ordered 4 egg rolls, general chicken, egg foo young and friend rice and my total was $56. I wish I could dispute the charges with my bank because when I got home and looked at the sizes I felt so ripped off. Please don’t go here. Save your money. China Inn on Joe Orr Road is the best Chinese in the area.

We’ve been getting our Chinese food for the last 6 years. The last couple of times it seemed to have changed. Today we got food for dinner and were very disappointed. The pork Lomain noodles were larger and very soft. The beef was fatty and mushy. This will be our last time getting their food.

The food here is so good. The fried rice, orange chicken, and the egg roll were all made fresh and you can definitely tell! It was very fast & the prices were great. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in a while.

This was Literally thee WORSE Chinese food I’ve ever had in my life! I ordered a large shrimp fried rice with 4 veggie egg rolls. The shrimp were not cooked at all, rubbery and basically “shrimp cocktail” the veggie egg rolls were hard and the veggies inside looked like slime! I literally gagged when I ate the food and I don’t even have a weak stomach at all. I do not recommend this place at all. The customer service was horrible, the lady was snappy and seemed very irritated while I placed my order but I overlooked it because I thought to myself hey maybe she’s having a bad day but if she ate that food,I see why she possibly could’ve had a bad day. I wouldn’t feed that to my dog! I know I was displeased because this is the first review I’ve ever done.
