This is likely one of the best restaurants I’ve visited recently.

Today, I was in the mood for something/someplace different. This was my first time to Luck Gai Cafe, and it did not disappoint :-)! The food portions were perfect, I got the “Light” Hainan (poached) Chicken & Rice plate along with a side of their Pork Dumplings (6 pieces) as a to-go order. As a side note, their take-away boxes are the cutest and coolest I have ever seen in a long while. The Ginger-Soybean Sauce that was included with the Chicken & Rice paired very well, and you must include their chili paste with your meal, really good and spicy, just right balance of flavor and kick. I will be going back to try their Foxy Kiss and Drunken Noodle dishes – hoping to have some of my friends join me so we can get different dishes and mix-and-match :-)!

This place is really hidden and newly open. Husband and wife place. Interacted with the husband and he’s so nice! For me the Pad se ew was different. I’m not used to wet pad see ew, not my favorite style. Now the Hainan fried chicken was tasty. The crab Rangoon was tasty. I will go back and try the other dishes for sure.

You absolutely have to try the Crying Fox and the Going Nuts. The textures and flavors are absolutely divine! Perfect crisp on the fried tofu! Well calibrated levels of spiciness. Great service and friendly owners! This place is a must try!

The is the BEST place in OC for authentic thai dishes and thai street food. Everything is so fresh and flavor filled, love coming here with my family! The atmosphere is so cute and calming and the employees are so funny and kind. Their poached and fried chicken (not pictured) are also to die for!!!! Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a quick bite or a casual sit down place to eat.

Has an interesting ambiance for a location inside a strip mall. Everyone says the mighty combo. It’s good, but the fried chicken is better tbh. I’d stick with that than the combo. The pad see ew, was par but not extraordinary. But the fox kiss, outshined as well.

We ordered 3 dishes. 1 was good with 5 stars Kissing Fox, 1 was okay good with 4 stars Tom yum soup, 1 was okay with 3 stars chicken rice combo. Service was very nice. The server was friendly and funny. Portion is not big. They are not the best Thai food compared to other Thai restaurants surrounding Anaheim and Orange City. The taste is more American. We didn’t try their drink, but their food tastes less sweet than other Thai restaurants. We also liked the vibe. It is a modern family style. The place is very clean. Packing is a little weird. The restaurant is located next to the bridge wall. I will recommend this place.

It’s honestly hard to put into words to describe this absolute gem of a restaurant serving legitimate authentic Thai cuisine. I’ve been to Thailand and this food is just like being abroad. Every single dish that I’ve tried in the past before has been stellar. The soups are spiced to perfection, the curries are nourishing and the Foxy Kiss is a home run hit. This is a family run business and I’m happy to support this establishment. Keep up the great work, Luck Gai.

First time here and it was hands down the best thai place I have ever been to in the Anaheim area. My boyfriend and I ordered panang curry and pad see ew and there was nothing left after. It was rich in flavor and really affordable considering it’s amazing quality. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

Just visited for the first time today. I had the Foxy Kiss with beef. It had a nice spicy kick and was very filling. I enjoyed with with a Thai Iced Tea that was a nice complement to my meal. My wife had the Pad Thai with shrimp. She said it was a fun, filling and flavorful dish. We will definitely be back again!
