I will be honest this would probably be a 5 star review if I haven’t been to Rome. Comparing American Italian food to actual Italian food isn’t fair to the American restaurants. Not what I was expecting for Elko NV. The portions were huge. If you left hungry, it’s your own fault. We started either the Fried Ravioli nachos. They were amazing. I had the chicken sausage carbonara. Overall, very good dish. A little under seasoned. Roman food has much more salt from the ingredients used. My wife agreed, and her pappardelle with chicken and garlic was missing the same Italian seasoning. That being said, my son and daughter in law had the Filet Medallions and Lamb Shank and were very satisfied. For desert, we shared the chocolate mouse and the Berry Cheese cake. They were amazing.

I couldn’t believe the cuisine. Stopping in Elko for the night and discovered this gem. Authentic, from scratch Italian food. You must come and check it out. Full bar, great pasta, the clams in wine sauce was divine. Ambiance, service, food. Worth every penny!

The staff was so friendly and I enjoyed watching them all work well together for the sake of customer service and everyone was helping everyone, which made service fast and efficient. Ordered take out after driving 10 hrs and was so looking forward to good Italian food before going home. The food was good but to our disappointment there was no bread! I asked for a double order to boot and we got 4 small cardboard boxes with more salad in them. No bread for dipping

To preface, my partner and I have both worked in food service and have never left a bad review. The service here was great, even though the place seemed very busy as it was a Friday night. The food was terrible. My partner ordered the lamb shank which tasted like an old pot roast, and the sauce was extremely bland.. cream with chunks of garlic. I ordered an Ahi and shrimp pasta that was also very bland and not well cooked. (the ahi tasted like salmon) If I had been served this meal at a friends house, I would eat it and assume they were simply a bad cook. 30+ bucks per entree for subpar food. I would avoid this place.
