Went there last night for our 29th wedding Anniversary. We have never done fondue before and always wanted too. Found this place and called to make reservations. From the minute I made them I knew it was going to be a great time. Mark the owner was so nice and friendly. Got there a bit early and waited in the car he actually came and got us because he was ready for us.. The place is an old Victorian Home which is really neat. He sat us down and explained how it worked. Come hungry u get tons of food. My husband loves wine and it was a huge goblet filled to the top. The cheese was so good with the basket of dipping items u then get a fresh salad. You pick which meat items u want we chose a variety so we can taste everything. Ostrich, beef, lobster, shrimp, scallops. So yummy. Also comes with 12 dipping sauces. Then comes dessert it’s Carmel sauce with chocolate sauce in the center. U get pound cakes, marshmallows, fruits. He also gave us a piece of cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary. We took our time so allow a good 2 hours. So fun great place nice atmosphere will be coming back to bring some family and friends!

Amazing time! The food was meh, but then again it’s not like I wasn’t the one who cooked it. But past that it’s an amazing time, I went on mother’s day and they had a sale for some wines. Their Wine was so good I had 2 giant glasses that sent me home stumbling over myself. But the real main star is the fun you have with others, the place is designed to get you talking with one another. A great spot for an amazing date night.

My wife and I have celebrated many occasions at Lucernes. But our most recent one was our daughter’s 18th birthday. Mark was amazing! So freindly and fun! The food was incredible, and we all had a great time. This is an experience I confidently give my highest recommendation for.

This place is Amazing! Mark is amazing he was so polite attentive and inviting! My wife and I felt welcomed right away. We had such a great time. What an awesome, intimate, delicious place to eat in Rockford. This was our first time here and my wife and I love it. I am guessing the owner served us and was very very very kind and informative. Not really a place for little kids but if your looking for a romantic get away or something different, this is the place to go.
