Went in for my b-day celebration. We had reservations, the first hostess didnt acknowledge us for about 2 minutes . When she did some kind of way our reservations were canceled, asked the 2nd hostess what was going on , the 2nd one reassured us that everything was fine and quickly seated us to our table!! She was much nicer..

Service is definitely a 5. Ambiance definitely a 5. Ooooh the decor is elegant. The white table cloths, the nicely appointed tables with wine glasses, multiple silverware…And what’s important and notable for a restaurant? Food! And that’s a 5 too!

This place described in one word: Decadent. Everything from the high quality foods to the decor and service is luxurious and inviting. I started with the Clams in Brodo which featured tender clams with bacon and shallots submerged in a delicious tomato clam broth. This was savory, light, and aromatic! Next I had the Ragu D’ Anatr. With its fresh pasta noodles, tender duck, and roasted tomatoes, my palette was begging for more. My friend also enjoyed a salad sans the goat cheese and the Hunter’s sausage pasta with added shrimp-all delightful! Our cocktail of choice featured grapefruit and cinnamon, a refreshing combo although I can’t recall the name of the drink! By the end we were too full for dessert, but that just gives me even more incentive to return. A must try!

A five star experience! I made reservations through the OpenTable app which was really easy. This was a planned visit for my wife’s birthday so when the app asked if it was for a special event I checked the birthday box. When we were seated there was a card with our name and a nice birthday wish inside. Very classy! The service was outstanding. A lady came by for us to talk about the wine list, we picked a great wine that paired with our meal. We had the bruschetta and salads for our first course. A three piece band set up and filled the room with light jazz. Our meal was prepared and served to perfection. For dessert we ordered the pistachio cheesecake and they added a single candle. That was a very special addition to the moment. By far the best restaurant experience in the Hampton roads area.

Never rate places like this, but this place is an absolute gem. The food was absolutely to die for, and they have a massive selection of wines. It’s a very high-end place, so your typical food pricing will follow. But if you’re looking for a fancy date or just a great fancy lunch, this is the place. Parking is scarce, but they do have a parking garage that accommodates just fine. Recommend this place 1000 percent.

This place is beautiful. Had reservations here for my bday and they did not disappoint. Table setting with my name and personal note wishing me Happy Birthday. Service was attentive and good. All the food we tried was great and we tried alot! Drink wise I had the smoke and spice (amazing) and a glass of Moscato D’asti. The decor and lighting gives a very elegant vibe and even the bathroom decor is stunning. (Great for pictures) Would definitely revisit this place. Great addition to Chesapeake Summit Pointe area.

My husband, and I had dined here for Valentine’s day, and I have to say the ambiance was wonderful. They even had a 3 piece musical group that showed up about 45 minutes after the restaurant opened to play music (that was a nice touch). We really enjoyed our food which was very tasty but rather small portions but so very yummy. The only reason this is not a 5 star review is the amount of time it took our server to take our dinner order, and I mean it took a long time considering we were looking for a manager at one point to see if we could get help. We were the 2nd ones to be seated in the restaurant, and there were only 4 couples at that point in the restaurant. The guy came, and took our drink orders of which that took some time to get to us, and then we waited, and waited for him to come back to take our dinner order. By this time the restaurant was about 1/4 full of patrons (not busy at all, and plenty of wait staff). We kept looking around, and saw our waiter at the bar taking a dinner order from a lady that had just show up about 2 minutes before her order, and he finished serving drinks to a couple that had shown up at the bar. Mind you, there was no one sitting at the bar when we arrived until about 10 minutes after our arrival. Then a lady at the bar saw us looking around so she came over to take our order, and apologized saying they are busy at the bar which we were again the second couple at the door, and seated before other patrons came in. We had mentioned that to the server or bartender (not sure what her position was that night), but she had an attitude with us when we mentioned it in a nice tone mind you. Anyway, we finally received our food by the time the restaurant was 1/2 full of patrons, and the food was so yummy. Also, not a lot of choices for food & shocking they do not have spaghetti bolognese on the menu, but they do have some amazing choices. The Sotto Scallops were so yummy & the Wild Boar Ragu was devine! Again, this would have been a 5 star review if it weren’t for the slow service, and the attitude from the server/bartender working at the bar. We will visit again.

Fantastic service and atmosphere! Lots of well-balanced drinks to choose from, especially enjoyed their bourbon special with peach and nut liquors, as well as Chai Tai, Espresso Old Fashioned, and Spritzer. Salad and fried burrata appetizer special were very good, and Wild Boar Ragu and Pollo al Sud were excellent entrees. Best of all was the apple torte with caramel ice cream for dessert, maple bourbon creme brûlée was very nice as well!
