Five stars is not enough for this great restaurant! First time visit for a takeout order and everything was outstanding. From the warm crusty bread to the entrees. The eggplant parmigiana and Paglia e Fieno were amazing. I can’t wait to go back to try other menu items! It is wonderful to have this delightful restaurant in Sayreville. Look forward to dining in once things return to normal.

This was our first order with this place. We ordered the calamari although the squid was tender the breading fell off and it was soggy. I tried to crisp it up in a pan but that did not even help. We requested to try both the sauces (at an additional charge) the sauces were good, thank god for the bread (which was outstanding) to dip in the sauce because the calamari was not up to pare.

Under new management. Looked very clean. I made a quick stop just to have dessert and sit outside. Service was very fast and attentive. My cheesecake was fresh and delicious. They are open for takeout and patio dining it looks like. I would come back if I lived in the area.

As a resident of Sayreville, I’m proud that Luca’s Italian Bistro is in my town. My husband and I had dinner here tonight for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. The mussels were spot on! The outdoor seating area was nicely decorated with beautiful Edison bulb lights. Most importantly, the food was perfectly timed. It wasn’t rushed and allowed me and my husband to really enjoy our date together. We highly recommend and will be returning soon!

I ordered the fettuccine alfredo. The pasta was excellent, texture and taste of home made. The alfredo on the other hand was not very good. Maybe it’s more to the style from italy itself but I am used to a much more cheesey sauce. The shrimp was fresh and grilled perfectly. My wife and daughters had the chicken parmesan, the parm was good but they did not like the tomato sauce. A bit pricey to me as well.

I haven’t been to this place since it was F&Js and the transformation was amazing. The staff were super friendly and the food was excellent and very filling. Had a nice walk there and back. I like it that someplace nice like this is in town and I don’t have to drive to it. Definitely recommend.

Great food, reasonable prices. Salad was fresh and crisp. Ordered calamari, pollo francese, pollo spezzatino and pollo alla Luca, all very good. Other reviews here are completely accurate, will certainly be back for more.
