My wife and I decided to visit Lucano’s tonight. We ordered a deep dish pizza. The wait was normal for a fresh pie. The pizza, while quite tasty, had collapsed so the presentation was poor. The crust had a pleasant, buttery taste that helped balance the acidity of the sauce. The crust was crisp on the underside.

Probably the most outstanding Deep dish The two of us have ever eaten! We also received exceptional service from Heather and Deven. We recommend Lucanos to everyone we know and if you’ve never stopped in you’re really missing out. It’s nice to know that pizza this phenomenal is so close and the service is so fantastic!!! Four months ago, I gave a four star review. I regularly recommend this place to new residents. I ordered 09/12/20 and requested that the crust not be burned and I could not believe that the majority of the pizza was so undone that it stuck to the cardboard,along with barely any sauce. A simple request and this is what I received.

I was personally called by the owner to ask to edit my review fun fact they put pepperoni under the cheese. I did not partake in the pizza my son did.He was the one to bring it to my attention we are on break it was really no big deal but I understand what reviews impact.. Ordered 2 thin crust pizzas for takeout this evening for myself and the guys at work, 1 meat lovers and 1 supreme, both pies were cooked just how I like them, thin and crispy. The sauce is excellent, full of flavor and not watered down like a lot of other places. The supreme pizza had sausage, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms, all of the toppings were plentiful and delicious. I especially like that mushrooms are included, in my experience it seems a lot of restaurants have done away with mushrooms on supreme pizzas. Excellent service overall, staff was friendly and the food was ready when I arrived, so I was in and out.

Ordered a pizza for delivery and it was suppose to arrive by 7:30 which was an hour delivery time. I called at 7:45 to check status and was left on hold for 10 minutes and was told driver would be there in 15mins. When my pizza arrived the pizza was burnt, I do not mind well done but this was beyond that. I called to speak with a manager and the young girl put my on hold then hung up on me. This happened three times. I had to drive to restaurant and finally able to speak with a manager who then asked if I wanted another pizza, I decided to just get refunded. He was polite. I would not have minded getting a new pizza but getting hung up 3 times was not cool and the girl was very immature.

I ordered spaghetti and chicken . The spaghetti was bland uncooked and the chicken was the only thing that tasted ok and the service was awful.. dont come here not what it used to be… the help seems to not know what is going on very disorganized
