What a great find! We had a patty melt and the cornbeef hash, both were delicious. The hash had nice chunks of meat and it was seasoned well. The biscuit and gravy were super tasty. Nice staff and great service. Will definitely be back when we’re in the area again.

Holy wow, if you haven’t tried this place you’re missing out! The food was amazing. Delicious sausage gravy, the sausage patties were bomb too. Food was all perfectly prepared and all the staff was really friendly. Nice big coffee cups too!

Oh my god. Best breakfast I’ve had in forever. Everything was homemade. The coffee was amazing. Biscuits melted in my mouth. Fried potatoes with peppers and onions delivered by the breakfast gods themselves. I feel reborn and full of eggs.

The decor is a work in progress but the food is to die for. Best breakfast in 2 months on the road travelling through the US. Two eggs sunny side up, homemade hash browns, sour dough toast and home made sausage patty. Good coffee, hot and it kept on coming. Wait staff are very good too. As I was leaving I saw a freshly baked apple pie but couldn’t fit in another bite.

I come often to this place. Not very big but the food is over the top. Staff is very friendly. Always clean. I usually get there Mushroom Madness omelet with avocado, hash browns sourdough and a vanilla chai. The family gets all the other menu items. In fact, I’m going there. Made myself hungry!

So im sure I’ve left a review before…and the food is still amazing as always. But this time the staff just went above and beyond. It’s 4th of July and my boyfriend and I come here at least 1 time a month. Last time we were here , on Father’s day,I brought my sister her 2 kids and my cousin. And like always we ate good. When we got home my sister mentioned she thought she had lost $50. We didn’t think anything of it. Well fast forto today and as we are ordering, the waitress we had back on Father’s day comes to the table and says when they were cleaning up they found it and had been holding it for us for the last few weeks. I don’t know about you but that’s unheard of…unless ur here!!! Not only is L’s the best food but they have the best owner and staff I have experienced. We drive from Cutten to Fortuna for this amazing food and staff!!!! If ur reading reviews trying to make a decision….look no further!!! This is the spot. You won’t be disappointed!!!! O and try the meaty mess…it’s my fav!!!

Came in and every table was busy. The server was nice enough to split a big table into 2 so I could sit. I ordered the country breakfast. Huge plate.The sausage patty was good and big. The biscuit was really good and fluffy moist. The gravy was ok, I’m used to my husband’s homemade gravy but it wasn’t bad. Food came out quick.

Excellent homemade food from scratch, aside from the sliced bread pretty much. Even though it’s not advertised organic and even sometimes locally grown like from the owners on garden food is even grown when available. They’re very low waste and environmentally conscious even giving their food scraps to big farmers. Staff is awesome friendly and everybody knows each other here.

LOVED LOVED LOVED this place! Service was friendly and fast. Ordered the “Customer’s Favorite” and was not disappointed. Perfectly cooked over-medium eggs are hard to come by these days and this chef nailed it. The biscuits and gravy and country potatoes were also excellent. If I ever come up here again, I would definitely come back here!
