The name Lou’s comes from Lou himself, bringing some of his recipes with us. It is our goal to provide quality food, friendly atmosphere and small town community feel.

Well somebody recommended this on Salem eats and so I had to run out and try it. My friend and I each had one. 1 with tomatoe and 1 without. I’m here to tell you that it’s in the top five best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my entire life. The flavors going on in that turkey bacon avocado cranberry cream cheese croissant sandwich is out of this world! The ingredients were also very elevated. The bacon that you can’t hardly find anymore was on this sandwich. It’s the little details that made it so great! Blow up the image on the bacon and look at the way it was perfectly cooked with no unrendered fat . Look how thinly sliced the red onions are as to not overpower the avocado and turkey . Those little details really made this sandwich pop! I go out five or six times to find one place like this that checks all the boxes on great food, great service, great atmosphere and an extremely clean restaurant. I can hardly wait to go try their country fried steak that they make in-house and hand batter. Stay tuned for more in depth reviews on this place.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch. I had a cheeseburger and my wife had the grilled chicken salad. Great quality, large portions, excellent services, and fair pricing. Headed back to try Sunday breakfast.

We had the sirloin steak and the chicken salad on a croissant with fries. Both dinners were delicious. Nice atmosphere, and the owner, Scott Stokley, and his staff were very friendly.

Some of my colleagues at Wilco introduced me to Lou’s. Now, it’s one of my favorite places to eat. The turkey cranberry avocado croissant sandwich is probably the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten.

Absolutely in my top list of biscuits and gravy(Saturday only so be prepared!). The coffee was almost as fantastic as the owners were with conversation. If you’re in Mt Angel or passing by and haven’t tried them, You’re missing out on a gem!

They have taken over the historic Glockenspiel restaurant space in beautiful downtown Mt. Angel. Not a huge menu but the food is great and the staff are super!
