The Asian restaurant near me closed suddenly, and this was the closest. I was hesitant because most Asain restaurants aren’t true to their food menu descriptions. I ordered a General TSOs chicken, a Sesame chicken, and Sweet & Sour chicken, all with house rice. I also ordered egg drop soup( my favorite ). We all ordered what we wanted and the bill was under$60. The other place would’ve cost me every but of$70 for all we ordered. I HAVE FOUND MY NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT.

OMG! I got a almond boneless chicken, shrimp egg foo young combo (my two favorites). My favorite Chinese restaurant closed down so I went here because it was close by and it was getting late…and because of the reviews and photos I decided to give them a try. Got home and it looked good at first glance, large portions… chicken was crispy and tender but then I couldn’t get my fork in the egg foo young. I took it apart only to discover the entire patty was burnt. I could only get two good edible pieces from the very center of this large patty. I’ve had it where the bottom was scorched before but not the entire patty and I returned to get another one made…I couldn’t even call and complain or take it back because they had closed…the cook had to have known they kept it down too long but still gave it to me anyway! How else could you burn a patty of that size? Scratching this place off my list.

Generous portions. I’m usually very happy with anything I order from here, but I get that people have varied expectations for this particular cuisine of food. Favorites include the beef fried rice, wonton soup, and Happy Family dinner. They’re a busy take out spot with a lot of regulars, so expect a wait when you get there for a pickup.

Was in Taylor for work so I tried this place. Very friendly service. The sweet and sour chicken was tasty and fresh but the fried rice was way overcooked. The veggies looked like they were cooked twice. The atmosphere is very old and dated but clean.

Was in the Taylor area looking for Chinese food I asked a few ppl they said go here. So I did, worst food I’ve ever had. The grease they used to fry in was old and all of the food was soggy. Do not recommend to anyone. For the whole weekend I was sick to my stomach. Got crab Rangoon’s, egg rolls, and two dinners none of it was any good.

Absolutely fantastic. I’m fairly picky when it comes to Chinese food, but this place wins 5 stars all across the board. I ordered the anytime special with General Tso’s and “Balamak” beef. What I found interesting was that this restaurant actually includes a sweet dinner roll along with your egg roll and fortune cookie. Although the dinner roll was OK, it was a nice addition and didn’t leave a negative impression on me. Egg roll was fresh and I believe homemade. Fresh and heavy on the sprouts, which is fine because I love sprouts. The included rice was luckily very simple, as the rest of my meal had some complex flavors. I’m sure if you ordered a primary fried rice entree, it would have a lot more flavor, but in this instance it was nothing to write home about. Once again, it did not leave a negative impression. Now lemme tell you about the entrees. This General Tso’s chicken is nothing like what I’ve seen at any other restaurant. Instead of going for a crispy dry texture like some other local chinese restaurants, the chicken was soft and sticky. Let me tell you, it was GREAT. Quite sweet with a nice umami overtone. Also- Get the Balamak beef. Seriously, just get it. I have no clue what Balamak means but I was super impressed with the quality and flavor. I can’t find a description anywhere on the internet, so I’ll describe it here. Balamak Beef is 3 skewers of heavily marinated steak, covered with a thin dressing of some kind of teriyaki sauce. It’s so tender it literally just melts off the stick. SERIOUSLY TRY IT!!!

I Love Loung Hing. Sue and her family are Awesome! Best Chinese Food!!!! They fill the plates completely full. I got one sweet and sour chicken dinner with 4 extra egg rolls and it was enough to get me and my 4 kids full. They make the best egg rolls. They have kind of a sweet taste and are never oily. Always a 15 minute wait and they have good prices. Great place.
