Service was fantastic, food was fabulous. Kevin our server was great. Recommended the best food for our first visit in Atlanta. Had to have the oysters and gator bites. Both were out of this world. Surf and turf was full of flavor and a great choice. Also added gumbo and red beans and rice. Great place all around

Is there a perfect dining experience? Probably not. But my lunch at Louisiana Bistreaux in East Point, Atlanta, GA was about as close as it gets. My waiter, Kevin, demonstrated a terrific mix of attentiveness and space. Couldn’t have been taken care of any better. And then, the food. Fried green tomatoes were sliced perfectly, not too thick that they over power the breading and not too thin that they are floppy. Cooked perfectly, hot all the way through, but still solid. The breading was flaky and flavorful, but not over seasoned. Some of the best I’ve ever had. The shrimp, sausage, and grits was very good as well. It’s hard to compare that dish to others because it varies from chef to chef. It might have been a bit soupy for my taste, but that didn’t take away from the well seasoned and well prepared dish. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and each component of the dish blended well. Good atmosphere, great staff, great food. Great experience.

This was a great place for dinner. Food was excellent in taste. I had appetizer of Cajun popcorn. I ordered a jumbo Shrimp dish with corn and rice accompaniment. Very nice perfectly cooked shrimp with great seasonings. The corn was good but rice needed more taste.

Coming last night was great for my family gathering due to the atmosphere but the food was not up to par. The restaurant only get a 3 due to the waiter and atmosphere otherwise it would be less. The food pertaining to the Shrimp, lamb, crab cake, grits and kids burger did not meet the mark. Let me explain.

The waiter and bartender was amazing. But the food was not. After spending $100 I still tipped well because the service from the waiters were great. The rice came out soaked in the sauce the spoon actually fell into the bowl. My salmon was dry and the pasta sauce was soaked at the bottom of the bowel. Best thing about this brunch date was the drinks and the servers. I was too tired to even complain

The food here is so delicious. I went twice during an east coast road trip 7/19/23 & 7/23/2023. The wait staff was amazing both times. As soon as you walk in you arw greeter with a warm welcome. On the 19th I ordered the Angus ribeye topped with crawfish and crab it was so delicious. On the 23rd I ordered the salmon pasta with pesto. Wow! I think I enjoyed it more than the steak. If I ever go back to Atlanta I will definitely go back there. I also ended up with the oreo cheesecake it was too rich for my liking.

The food was great. I got their oysters and they were great. I liked that there was also some bread that way I could use it to scoop up the butter and Parmigiano that was left on the oysters. The crayfish ravioli was also great, and it came in perfectly sized proportion.

recently savored the pastalaya and shrimp etouffée—an enjoyable culinary adventure. The dish featured tender shrimp and pastalaya in a rich, comforting sauce. While the flavors were satisfying, I would have preferred a touch more spiciness to enhance the experience. Nonetheless, it’s a flavorful and comforting choice, easily tailored to personal spice preferences.

I rarely give five stars and I so wanted to give Louisiana Bistro five stars. The staff and restaurant were top notch. My associate had the stuffed oysters and a cup of gumbo. He literally said everything was the best food he ever ate. This is a huge statement from a man that has spent 30 years traveling for business. As a main dish he ordered the red snapper and I had the grilled shrimp. Myself, I was expecting flavorful shrimp, they were OK but not up to my expectations. The sides were amazing and I apologize I cannot remember the name of the corn side dish but it was fantastic. Even the black beans and rice were worth much more than being called a side dish. The Louisiana Bistro has its own sauce that should be a staple in your pantry. Just the right amount of spice and flavor. My associate from Saint Louis was so impressed with the sauce he wouldn’t leave until he got a bottle to take home. So 4.9 stars if I could do it. Great job everyone at Louisiana Bistro.

Food was pretty good. The jambalaya was a bit cold on portion of the plate… The chargrilled oysters overall were warm, but one was chill. I tend to like mine more charred, but flavor was good. Gumbo was decent. The place has a stick to it, but I think it’s more of what a lot of customer smoke… So I would recommend not sitting near the bar…. They didn’t smoke inside, but there was a specific stench that they carried. I believe others have commented on this. Service was a bit slow, but they were pretty busy running around
