We have named our restaurant in honor of Iris Louise McPhetridge Thaden (1905-1979). Born and raised in Bentonville, she was a proud Arkansan and one of the greatest aviators of her time. Her pioneering and innovative spirit will inspire all of our guests who dine with us.

Great place for brunch!! Service was great and the food even better! We had to wait for a table but that was fine since my son (5 years old) had a great time peddling little planes around the hanger. They have an outside area to sit too (wished they had sun cover for them). My son loved to eat and watch the planes there take off and land. We will go back there again and again!

Came here from California to visit a friend. We don’t have anything in Ca that provides such a fun experience like this with close proximity to an airport and landing strip. How nice to sit outside and watch planes land and take off. Our waitress Desi was fantastic and so sweet! Food and drinks were excellent. Great area outside for kiddos to burn energy off and watch planes. If you haven’t come here, would recommend planning a time to come and experience this wonderful gem.

This was our first visit to Louise at Thaden Field. Almost no wait time to get a table. The menu is simple and still has great variety. We got the fish sandwich and pork steak. Good portion size for the food. Great flavor. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the airfield.

First time dining at Louise. We’ve meant to come here for a long time but finally went for the first time last night. Staff was very nice and it was fun sitting next to the windows and seeing them planes. Unfortunately, we waited a very long time for our food and some of it was cold when it finally came. Tasted fine, but nothing to write home about. They comp’d us for part of our meal since it was cold, which was nice, and the reason I was willing to still give 3 stars. We’re trying to decide if we’ll come back or not.

Highly recommend to go when the weather is great. This place has small toy planes in front of the restaurant, so kids can definitely spend a few minutes. Usually there is a long wait on weekends, so I would suggest go before 11am on weekends. We went there on Saturday around 11am and waited about 30 minutes. Food is good, my husband’s favorite is their burger.

We had a great experience at Louise! Our server Jenny was incredible. She knew what eating out with small kids takes & was so helpful. The good was very good. We all loved watching planes take off and leave. While great for kids/families, my husband and I talked about how we’d love to have a cocktail on the patio some evening.

We got the country fried steak. The food tasted good but it was on the greasy side. I really liked the views of the planes landing and taking off to the right, and the gorgeous view of the lake to the left. Wish we could’ve sat outside because the weather was perfect.

Nico was an absolute rockstar!! Loved her service and great laughs as she offered a to-go cup then dealt with my dismay that there are to-go cups from sit down restaurants. I’d go back just for the waitstaff.

This is a super neat restaurant since it’s on the Bentonville municipal airport. You can eat with views of the small planes taking off and landing. On top of that, the food is very good, albeit on the pricier side.
