Louie’s taphouse was a nice little stop. Large selection of tap and canned beers from around the area. Very friendly staff and tasty food. We got there a little after the lunch rush so not many people inside other than us. The cheese curds were the best I’ve had in a long time. Just a couple of minutes off the interstate, this is a nice find. They have a mini golf and volleyball area if you’re in need of such things. I will definitely return if I am in the area.

I’m only giving Louie’s a 4 star rating, because I was in a group of 4. My friends grilled chicken, on her salad was cold, so she sent it back and then she had to go back and remind them that she was still waiting. The rest of us were almost done eating by then.

Chose here to dine outside. It was a Sunday early evening and the place was a not super busy. The service was very slow, it took my wife’s drink about 15 minutes to come out, my bourbon sweet tea was very watered down. The spot we sat at outside needed a privacy fence or partitioner because you could see back of buildings and garbage cans and the landscaping was not kept up. The new table with umbrella wobbled bad. The food when it finally arrived was pretty good. When waiting on the check, I think he forgot we had to hunt him down. If you decide to go here I would recommend sit at the bar and you might have a better experience.

Came here Sunday – Nick was the bartender – extremely slow service – we waited 7 minutes to place a drink order. There were 4 other people at the bar. We paid $13.00 for 3 pretzel sticks. He forgot to place our pretzel order – then we had to ask for it. We were told by other patrons don’t expect good service on Sunday’s – they were not kidding. Not sure what happened in the last couple months but what an absolute disappointing experience.

Louie’s Tap house is great. I was a little apprehensive when I saw the menu prices online but am glad I gave it a try because it was worth every penny. I had the Buffalo chicken macaroni and cheese with a side of cheese curds. Both were fantastic. The on tap beer selection is very large and they have a wall of pinball machines along with a gaming room. Definitely will be back with some friends in tow.

Hannah is by far one of the best bartenders I know in the area! She is always on top of everything and always makes our visits 10x better. Her hard work and dedication absolutely needs to be praised, give her a raise!!! Our drinks are always full, our food is always fresh/correct and she never forgets our special request!! Pretty damn impressive considering she doesn’t even need to write it down!! She’s great! 5/5 stars!

Our family of 5 dined here after a softball game, so our daughter was already in hangry mode. Our family’s food took roughly 25 minutes ( not bad) to come out with the exception of our daughter’s food. Our waitress came back and asked how everything was and noticed our daughter’s food hadn’t come out yet and followed up with the kitchen who who hadn’t started cooking her meal. It took another 25 minutes to cook a cheeseburger. Our waitress felt bad and it wasn’t her fault, just poor kitchen management.

Went based on a recommendation and found some good and some bad. Spinach and artichoke dip was great, but the nachos were not. The red onion was cut in rings on a nacho plate, making them hard to eat, and the cheese had no flavor and seemed under melted. The cheese on the sandwich was the same, flavorless and a weird consistency. The drinks from the bar were really good. There is a game room that says no kids without supervision that we sat near, but that rule was not enforced at all. A lot of young boys came in and were loud, on chairs, and there were no adults around. The waitresses walked by and even brought the kids their drinks, but no one addressed the noise. Wasn’t the worst place to eat, but the group I went with all agreed it was not a place to return to.

Out for a few drinks and picked the right place to have them! Peevee and Kas are fantastic and on their game! From drink recommendations to just some good conversation. And the food is pretty good, I have yet ordered something I didn’t like. Love coming to Louie’s and gonna start coming more just for the bar staff!

Excellent Reuben, close to top tier. Had egg roll and cheese curds for appetizers, the curds were just a little greasy. Good choice of beer but not enough dark beers. I’d go there again.
