What a gem! This place is absolutely too cool!!! The atmosphere is amazing and undoubtedly rare for the Midwest. Definitely got some serious east coast vibes without all the saltwater menu items. The smokehouse burger did not disappoint. Staff was very friendly and professional but also very laid back. Really just a unique place with a water-front view. Would love to visit again.

We are regulars at Louie’s every weekend and love this place! I would really like to give a shout out to the staff for working their tails off this past holiday weekend! The kitchen staff needs a standing ovation for getting food out promptly and delicious. I can honestly say they have a great group of people working together! Great job to Tim for hiring such good workers. I typically get the cauliflower crust pizza with everything on it and can say I haven’t had any better yet! Keep it up as this brings a great addition to Rathbun Lake and the Marina! Thank you to all of you!

Louie’s Lakeside is a great addition to the Rathbun Lake/Marina experience. For my family when we are at the lake we are there to enjoy our time with great people. Louie’s staff does everything within their possibilities to make sure we have a great experience. Tim’s menu is always a hit with specials, the staff is the best! They work their butts off with a full restaurant even on a busy holiday weekend. Thanks for the great service and great time.

First time here and it was amazing!! We had the fried Mac and cheese burger that was on special and the Cuban sandwich. They were outstanding. And our server Sosia was super nice and even suggested their specialty drinks, Lake Water and the Mojito. It was so good!! We will definitely be back!!

At first I was not happy for being passed up by people that arrived later than me, but they certainly made up for that one mistake with a great server and fantastic food. We spend a lot of time at the lake and we will definitely be back!

The food was really good but the owner/manager did not wash his hands after using the restroom. It’s like the bare minimum of hygiene, and if he doesn’t follow it you can only wonder about the rest of the restaurant. Will not return.

My husband found this place while staying at Honey Creek Resort and it was a perfect ending to a lovely fall day. It’s located at the marina (about 5-7 minutes from the resort) and was a typical casual beach place. We had pizza and it was very good and beer was cold If you go it’s worth noting that you have to order inside both food and beverage and find yourself a table outside where you can enjoy the sunset or inside and before you know it, your food will be delivered to your table hot and ready to enjoy.
