Another fabulous takeout from Louie’s, food is consistently well prepared and the price for the volume of food great, if you are thinking about a Chinese meal give them a try, you will be pleasantly surprised and the menu is extensive.

If you want something similar to panda express without having to drive all the way to Reno, this is the place to go. Food is generally top notch and the service is great!

I ordered a to go meal, the Beef Chow Fun. $14 dollars. Overall, not too bad. Hot and filling, for sure. Enough food for 2 to 3 people. I couldn’t finish it all, so I’ll take the rest home. While it was good overall, it was not great. It was kinda bland. The soy sauce helped, for sure. When I ordered, I was told that it’ll be ready in 5 minutes, and I arrived at 5 with the food waiting. The owner was very friendly and nice. I’ll be back!

Food was terrible and so was the service. The soy sauce bottle and salt and pepper bottles were stuck to the table and hadn’t been wiped in no telling how long. The food was not good, and very expensive. The bathrooms were in disorder, no locks on the door and one didn’t flush. The young server had no experience serving at all. Not sure if it changed hands as we had been there a few times in the past. Will not return, I’m sorry to say. Louie’s, please take these constructive criticisms to heart and fix what is wrong. You may get some people back if you look at your food, restaurant and service.

I am so sorry to have to write this but I have to and hopefully it will save some else. The food was so bad it was inedible. We spent $63.99 on over cooked vegetables, disgusting noodles that were also over cooked, something that was supposed to be Walnut prawns and old tasting fried chicken wings that were fried in rancid oil. We could not eat ANY of it and I did not ask for our money back because I feel sorry for these people. I could have cooked it better and I don’t cook. We will never order food from this place again…I don’t know if they are new owners or what happened but it’s not like it used to be.

The service wasn’t great but it’s because they seem to be struggling and their 13 year old was serving so I can empathize with the situation. The food was really good! Best duck I’ve had in Northern Nevada, and we’ve been to several places in Reno.

Disgusting. So disappointed. I’ve eaten here before and it was good. However, it seems like every time I’ve tried since it’s progressively gotten worse. The one picture is just the top of the lid to the shrimp chow mein. No seasoning, no veggies, just shrimp, noodles, and grease. I gave my daughter the shrimp just for some protein and she nor I could even finish it, I had to toss it. And then I ordered a dinner wor wonton soup and got just the soup, I thought I was clear about the chili paste going on the side apparently not so I don’t know if I can even eat that l, can’t share it with my daughter. So potentially a complete wast of 23 bucks. So disappointed.
