I have been going to LouDogs since I was little, but I am just taking the time to review it now. Absolutely astonishing place. Fresh rolls, fresh dogs, fresh ingredients, and one hell of an awesome story. My sister has a gluten allergie, and the employees are even kind enough to substitute the roll for her. So many selections of hotdogs that you won’t find anywhere else. I’ve never had a hot dog that tops this. I rarely and I mean almost never give 5 star reviews but Lou dogs is easily a top 5 star place to eat in sea isle city. Very homy experience and you feel very welcome in and out of the shop. Great prices and selection. I don’t have one complaint about this store, absolutely nothing bad to say. I give my respect to Loudogs for having such a great story by going here almost everyday for lunch in sea isle and giving this review. It’s become a staple for me and my family/friends to go to for lunch. This is a honest review from a decently specific eater. All of my honest respect goes to Lou’s son and his effort to carry on the tradition with these amazing dogs.

The hot dogs are still served from a cart, and the cart is inside the store. Lou’s mustard and chili are great, and they carry bags of Utz chips. They also have bottled drinks, and several sit-down and stand-up tables outside.

The toasted buns they serve the dogs in is the selling point. A decent variety of toppings to add on too. I think they use sabretts dogs, has a good snap. Good luck finding a parking spot during the summer!

Cool spot! Great ownership. Worth a stop in if you are looking for something quick and good (and cheap!). Something for everyone here. Enjoy!

Best hot dog I’ve ever had. These are really the only hot dogs I eat. The buns are definitely the differentiator and best rolls, in general, in NJ. The speciality dogs are always fun and tasty and walking taco is a great lunch for kids too. If you’re close to Lou Dogs there’s no need to cook lunch.

I can’t believe how many options of hot dogs this place had! If there was something I didn’t like, there were 5 dogs I did like. At the end of the day, I had to try 3 different dogs In order to make sure I was having the best dogs I’ve ever had! Christian and his crew make it worth while!

It is a hot dog cart inside a building. No frills, cash only. They have a nice menu in the wall of can create custom. We really liked the rolls. Dogs were tasty even before putting in the chili and cheese. If you’re looking for a quick bite I’d recommend it.

These are some amazing dog combos! Along with having the original cart in the store they are still cooking them up the original 1980 way, by boiling them. They swapped out the propane cooker for an updated electric cooker in the boiler tank but aside from that nothing else has changed.
