I’ve been coming here ever since I was a little kid and never once have they dropped the ball on me. The food is amazing! No matter what when someone brings up sushi I bring up Lotus! The staff is so kind and the service is quick and efficient! The owner will never fail to come check on you and make sure that your satisfaction and standards are met. I would recommend this place a trillion times. I’ve attached a photo of my favorite roll in hopes that your tastebuds will be able to experience what mine do. It’s called the valentine roll! Go check it out, 11/10 recommend

First time here with the wife and kids.the wife got the sushi rolls, kids had the chicken fried rice, and I had the spicy crispy chicken. It was all good!

Was overpriced. I had the teriyaki chicken and was not satisfied with the taste. It was a healthy but a bit bland. My bf had the fajitas and said the same thing about the taste. We got to enjoy the chefs hibachi performance which was nice

It’s extremely rare that we throw out food, but we ordered enough for leftovers and trashed all of it. It was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had, and I’m not exaggerating.

Have eaten at Lotus many times over the years and the food has always been pretty solid standard fare. Went last weekend and was very surprised to discover my tuna roll was filled with. . . well, I’m not sure what it was. Gassed, dyed, probably not even really tuna. The vivid watermelon pink color was fake, it was seeping onto the rice. Dry, sticky texture, flavorless too. The rest of the food wasn’t quite up to snuff either (bland, dry,) but these bizarre red “fish” scraps pretending to be sushi grade tuna have convinced me to not come here again. Cutting corners is not acceptable where sushi is concerned.

Update: 5/11: it’s been a little over a year since we’ve discovered this place. We’ve tried many other restaurants that sell sushi but nothing in the Milwaukee area compares. Been coming here every Monday since last year and will continue to eat their absolutely delicious, well made sushi until I depart next summer to my next assignment.

Really, really bland and mushy. My chicken with broccoli had no sauce at all. The general tsao was bland. The bbq pork egg roll had less flavor than any I’ve ever had. Really, really disappointed. Not worth it, especially for the price. Even the fortune cookies were bad. The best part was the white rice…
