The best Chinese food! I haven’t given a rating of all 5 starts before today. The food was excellent. Far above what I expected. Had the special wonton soup, everything in it delicious. Crab Rangoon and pan fried gyoza were great. Mongolian beef and special fried rice some of the best ever. The restaurant atmosphere was buzzing packed on a rainy Tuesday but not too loud. The owner John came over and talked to us a few times getting to know us and telling us about himself, family, and the history of their store. Never felt more at home. Can’t wait to go back.

Wow! By far the best Chinese in town. We’ve been trying to find a Chinese spot in town for years. The food was amazing! The service was great and the own John makes the entire experience unforgettable and very welcoming.

8/1/23-Yum, went early around 4:00ish and it was busy. Owner came over introduced himself. Check to see if we were happy. Very nice touch. Very large portions. I had the Mongolian beef combo . Soup or egg roll. I went w/soup, but did order the egg roll too. G had the general Tao chicken. Large tender pieces of chicken. All good

Came by for the first time—I wasn’t totally in the mood for Chinese but hubby really wanted to try this place. I’m so glad we came because this is easily the best Chinese we’ve has in the two years we’ve lived here. Our search is over—the quality and atmosphere make this place a perfect place. John, the owner, makes sure everyone is happy with their food—super nice. I thing I’ll be craving this place often ☺️

This was our first time visiting the new location. The dining room is clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the food including hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef, and shrimp with mixed vegetables. Everything was hot and tasty. Service was friendly and attentive.

I rarely give Chinese restaurants five stars, but after our first visit I felt it was earned. We finally found a sit down Chinese restaurant after Peking Duck closed in Pompano Beach that was as good or even better. The owner John, personally greets all his customers and make sure everyone is happy. I had the shrimp with lobster sauce combination plate, that included soup and pork fried rice. It was fresh and delicious and cost only $18. We also had a glass of wine . I did have to drive to Oakland Pk Blvd and Federal highway, but it was worth the drive.

All of the dishes we tried were simply perfect. Hard to find good Chinese food in SoFlo…that was until we found this one.

The hot and sour soup was good, but the pork dumplings were cold when they reached the table. The Mongolian beef was ordinary and not spicy as advertised and my friend didn’t care for his sweet and sour chicken. The pork fried rice was mediocre.

I have been coming to Lotus my whole life. Yesterday I visited (since I live in NC now) and the experience was as magical as I remember! The food was phenomenal – you can tell they put so much love in it. The warmth from all of the staff was an experience I won’t soon forget. We had the pleasure of speaking to the owner and were so touched by all the care he puts into both his staff and his food. Highly recommend!
