The food was delicious and the portions are HUGE! The service was absolutely extraordinary! The ambiance was lacking but it did NOT take away from the food quality or portions! Nor did it take away from the service we received!

Went in to order takeout based on a recommendation. Asked the hostess if we could order from the bar and was told yes. After waiting another employee was extremely rude and abrasive regarding me sitting at the bar because my son was a teenager. After an exchange it felt as if it was best for me to spend my money elsewhere. Definitely won’t return or recommend based on that interaction. Drove all the way to Montpelier, sat at the bar with my son, ordered food, and left with no issues.

We are vacationing in Virginia and it’s been difficult finding a place open past 9. The Italian restaurant next door, Roma Italian, closes at 10p just like this place and we were rudely turned away at 9:24! Whereas this Mexican restaurant welcomed us in with open arms and smiles. Thank you considering we drove 20 min to get here. The food was nice, hot and fresh! You deserve 5 stars. Life is too short to not smile, be friendly, serve well and be kind.

I stopped by while driving through town, and was sadly disappointed. The menu looked great, it smelled good in there, but everything fell short except for the service. We had a wonderful waiter, but the food was sub par. The guacamole was out of a plastic container, the kind you get at Food Lion. The tacos reminded me of something that an old white lady would cook on Taco Tuesday-flour tortillas, shredded lettuce, overcooked chicken… No flavor. My enchiladas were fine. The atmosphere was pretty horrible, and the bathrooms were terrifying.

Good cheap food, they don’t have rootbeer or sprite despite the claim of Coke products on their menu, they do have Sierra mist so I wasnt too bummed out. And the atmosphere was just lazy, crooked photos and the music seemed to have ran out at one point.

My family has eaten here a couple times and the food doesn’t disappoint. It’s a nice little family owned restaurant that thankfully has survived the past year. I got an enchilada and my husband got his favorite, chile colorado. We were very happy with our meal and service.
