So far THE BEST MEXICAN FOOD in CT. Came here 3 times in 3 weeks and food was simply amazing. The service is also amazing, ask for Joseline(not sure if i spelled it correctyl) because she goes above and beyond anybidy else. Her recommendations and service is A++. Definitely be back for more. Great tasting food that doesnt leave you with feeling bloated or heavy after eating. Also when you are the try the FROZEN MARGARITAS … KEEP IT UP!!!

The food is good. The service is slow but the staff was very nice. I would have given more stars but if you are going to charge $2.50 of a “xtra” side of sour cream and then charge $0.50 cents for each to-go container?? I’m sorry so I have to pay to take my food home ? Ridiculous and makes a bad impression of the owner of this place

The best mexican food in the area! The dining room is filled with beautiful hand painted murals and festive colors. They have a great game room for children and the staff is very kind and attentive. Now we just need to clean up the rest of Ives Street!

Stumbled upon this delicious place! Came in to get a takeout menu but stayed for the tacos. We ordered nachos without meat and it was awesome. The tortilla chips were just cooked and it was a perfect amount of toppings for the chips. We also ordered the chorizo tacos and oh boy, were they fabulous! Our waiter, Rudy, was also attentive and helpful. Highly recommend, will definitely be back!

BEWARE IF YOU ARE ORDERING BIG PLATES!!! You will wait a long long time. We wasted 2 hours and spent $160 on food that was not worth it. We went in for dinner (fam of 7) and we had the worst experience plus the service sucked. Kids asked for simple small plates and that took a while then their food came out after 40-45 mins. Me and my husband asked for the barbacoa plate and it took them over an hour to get the food out, while the kids were already done with their food. The girl told us it would take a little longer to get the barbacoa but never mentioned that at the beginning before placing the order or we would have just ordered something different. The kitchen staff should have informed this to the girls from the beginning. The communication between kitchen staff and servers to costumers is so poor. The girls apologized so many times and offered a free dessert but no one eats sweets, so we declined. I wanted to like this place since I’m always looking for nice dinners but i will not be coming back, Management never came around to check or apologize. Overall, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE IF YOU’RE VERY HUNGRY.
