A Spice Below the Horizon
What an absolute pleasure to eat at Los Primos! It is clean, great prices and the food is amazing! Laura our waitress was so kind and was quick with our drinks and order. I especially appreciate the cooks attention toward the preparation of our meal. We will return!

Was in town for an event and decided to give this place a try. In summary – Wow! The food was equal to (or maybe even better than) the best Mexican food I have had. The service and atmosphere were excellent and the price was less than 1/2 the price of the just average meal we had somewhere else the night before. Decided to try something I had not tried before and got the Chori Pollo. It was amazing. Just one problem – living over 2 hours away makes it really hard to go back on a regular basis, but next time we are in the area, we will be back.

The waitress was rude when we had questions (our first time in this place). The food portions were small, and the quality was poor to say the least. We all had upset stomachs after eating here that lasted from the evening into the next day! To top it all off, they charge extra if you want salsa to go with your meal. My daughter just wanted a little salsa on the pathetic “taco” they gave her, and they wanted to charge us 3 dollars for that. The place was basically empty, I see why now.

Very disappointed. First everything was out which whatever..it happens. Then what we ordered and what we got were not exactly one and the same but again we ate it without complaining. Then the bill came and we were up charged for every little thing. I mean we are from out of town passing through so we most likely would never come back but even if we happen to stop by hagerstown area again we will definitely not be spending our money here.

Too many upcharges. My fault I guess for not asking about drinks with kids meals but those are extra. A side of sour cream is a dollar. I understand they were understaffed so I cut some slack in regards to this but orders weren’t right but we just ate it anyways. Ordered an appetizer of nachos and cheese and though it was good..there was a tiny layer on a plate. Just traveling through so we wouldn’t be coming back anyways but for those doing the same..just be wary.

Tasty food. Sign said it closed at 9pm on a Saturday. We got there 20 minutes before close thinking it was closing at 10pm instead. They still served us, food was fresh, and the waitress was very friendly. Great spot.

Los Primos is a fairly new mexican restaurant to the Hagerstown, Md. The restaurant is pretty stylish with a Mexican theme. We had the tex-mex chimichanga, chicken soft tacos, beans & rice. The food tasted awesome and had great flavor. We were very pleased with everything we ordered. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend trying Los Primos.
