Food was slop, literally. As a Mexican, I am insulted, this food was fit for your pet. The meat smelled fishy. No working central air conditioning. The reviews stating the food is good are LIES! Truly a disappointment. Don’t be fooled by the positive reviews, they’re not true. On the left hand side was a “Chile relleno” it literally was beans and cheese with a sliver of pepper on top.

“Chili Relleno” was ground “beef” with a slice of pablono pepper and nacho cheese on top. The ground “beef” tasted and smelled like dog food. To the people who are saying this is authentic: this is NOT authentic in any stretch of the imagination. Buyer beware do not eat here unless you want sub par food and dog food enchiladas.

The place is so hot inside I’m not really understanding the concept of not having a cozy environment. The food was decent but not the best. What really turned me away though is the heat and not using AC. You’re a business and need to have customers feel comfortable where we will want to eat not run out the door. If you want business you have to have a comfortable environment for customers.

This was a treat to find right off of hwy 10 in jennings, LA. The food was delicious, the service was fast even though they were short staffed, but the decor of the place was off the chain. There is not one but two ponds out front with big koi fish in them with a gator statue next to a waterfalls. The painting on the front of the depict the family that owns it. The man in the agave field is the Dad in Guatemala that the son and daughter run the place. The benches are carved and have colorful things on them.

What a great surprise finding a good restaurant on our RV trip, this place have great food taste, we recommend the Fajitas, we changed the chicken for meet (carne Asada) delicious. Big serving portions and made right on the spot. Food customer service and plenty of spacious parking on site, close by the freeway.

When I first walked in, I noticed all over the floors where wrappers, chips, utensils, and other unidentifiable items. When I got my food, the “ground beef” smells and tastes like cat/dog food. Also in my food there was a hair that wasn’t mine!! My hair is brunnet and straight, but the hair I found was black and curly. last but not least, the waiter had to move us to the “cooler” side of the restaurant, and when I used the restroom it was so humid as if the heater was on.

The food was absolutely amazing. We were served fast, and the waiter was very friendly. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very cozy. The chairs and tables are decorated. They have great lunch specials, awesome combination plates, and everything was reasonably priced.
