I played it safe and got chilaquiles and a chipil tamal and my boyfriend got the taco plate. I had an agua de horchata- he just got soda.

This place is so small, doesn’t have many tables, but is worth the wait, the flavors of the food are extraordinary, definitely I recommend it, go without expectations.

Delicious food from the Mexican state of Oaxaca! The food tastes amazing and the portions are generous. The owner brings authentic products from Oaxaca like quesillo (cheese), chapulines (grasshoppers) and many others. We tried tamales oaxaqueños (authentically made in banana leaves), tlayuda with chapulines, plato mixto with cecina, tasajo and chorizo and enmoladas. Everything was excellent. We’re definitely coming back!

Ordered the menudo after a serious hangover. Horrible idea! 1st the menudo doesn’t include hominy. Their Recipe Excludes THIS INGREDIENT! Why?! The flavor… it lacked flavor. It tasted like absolutely nothing. Was runny & a very dark red color which is different to most menudos. Due to the color I expected more flavor but the opposite was true. Cilantro, Onions & lime where not fresh & had some dark brown spot. The worst part was the price $12. A $3 price increase vs most other spots for this dish. Ordering at Mi Tierrita Taqueria on my next hangover. Their you pay $9 it’s tasty with fresh veggies. I aswell as others wanted to try the Oaxaca take on this dish & totally regretted it. I didn’t eat the menudo but did make two big quesadillas with the tortillas that where included, homemade & large. Doesn’t help with the hangover though.

I’d say this is an okay place to grab Oaxacan food. Nothing blew me away but the price was decent.

Food was ok but over priced. I don’t mind paying almost $20 for a platw as long as I get $20worth.
