They need help. I waited 15 minutes before I was asked to be seated and I was the only one waiting. It was not a full restaurant. Then they forgot me… did not ask if I wanted a drink or anything. I wanted to order to go and they were out of steak and carnitas. This is unheard of for Mexican Restaurant. This was at 530pm and not before closing. Terrible communication and it seems like they only care and serve large parties. I was alone. Bad customer service.

The most amazing food I’ve eaten in a long time. This place is amazingly tasty, truly great Mexican food…. and I’m from Texas, the mecca of great Mexican food. The chili rellenos are done right, fluffy egg coating,; the fish and shrimp tacos were so crispy and delicious. And, if you really want to experience nirvana this side of Heaven, try their garlic fries. Finish off with flan and the plantains and you’ll be in Heaven! Definitely coming back when I’m back this way.

Came in here on a Saturday night and it wasn’t busy at all. Service was terrible, food was so so. Had to bring my check up to the bar just to cash out because the young gal serving us went MIA. Brought it to the guy just standing at the bar (wasn’t a bartender), and he didn’t say anything, just gave it to another guy to cash us out. If you’re looking for so so Mexican food with a side of bad service this is the spot for you!!

I stumbled across this hidden gem while going to safeway in the same shopping center. I noticed quite a few people enjoying their dinner, and it peaked my interest. I’m glad we tried this restaurant. I had the carne asada with rice and beans, tortillas, and a michelada. The steak was cooked to perfection. Overall, everything on the plate was delicious. I really enjoyed the michelada. There is plenty of seating inside and outside.

Fantastic place to eat! Our server Luis went above and beyond and got us a special order plate. The food was great, but the service was even better. Really does remind you why the service can make or break the place.

Always excellent. The food and drinks are super delicious. The staff is very friendly and honest. The service is timely. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Tahoe, one of our favorite dining spots here.

The food was decent but the service was terrible. We were one of three tables in the late evening and the waiter hardly checked on us. We could see him sitting on his phone behind the bar. Took forever to finally get the bill. Will not be back

We went here while on our yearly vacation to Tahoe. I can officially say that we will continue to come here every year we come back! The food was soooo good. I had the Chile Verde Plato and it was amazing the homemade tortillas were so good. There was only one guy helping all the tables, but he did such a great job. I saw him going to table to table and he made sure everyone was happy. I was very impressed. Can’t wait until next time!
