Just flew in from AZ and decided to stop here based off of the Google reviews. I’m a gluten free vegetarian and I’m allergic to wheat so I am gluten free too. The cheese enchiladas were great, and the veggie taco was massive. My girlfriend got the shrimp taco and a ceviche tostada and loved hers. Portions are huge, food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. I would say this restaurant is on par some of the best Mexican restaurants we love back in AZ. I would highly recommend, especially for any vegetarians or people who are gluten free.

I’m thankful Google recommended this place! I was looking for food after we landed because we were starving and Los Metates is super close to the airport. I got a ceviche tostada and a shrimp taco and it was so much food I was really surprised at the portions! He got the cheese enchiladas and a vegetarian taco and again the sizes were huge and the food is all delicious!

Absolutely delicious burritos here. I have visited several times now and either gotten the carne asada or carnitas super burritos. Grilled meat upon ordering, perfect fillings, and the side salsas are all delicious too. I prefer the salsa verde but the rojo is really good too, a tiny bit spicier but not as tasty imo.

I’m a Burrito person this one is by far one of the best burritos I’ve had! Juicy, big and tasty! Definitely a place I would come back to while in the area.. its definitely a hole in the wall but worth it.

This place is a true tacqueria in South San Francisco. It has unique meats like buche and suadero. While still having al pastor, carnita, lengua and cabeza. They also have fish tacos but haven’t tried them yet.

Love the fish taco here. In fact, I stopped eating fish tacos anywhere else. The beef burrito is excellent to0-it’s huge. The other items we enjoy is the chicken quesadilla, the sauce and the refried beans are delicious. My friend ordered the chili relleno and she said it’s very good. Hope this place survives this pandemic and the nearby construction.
