Magueyes is our favorite place to pick up from during a busy week (which is most weeks)! Both the entrees and the salsa taste extremely clean and fresh compared to nearby chain restaurants. I get the chipotle enchiladas and my boyfriend gets the beef fajitas. We’ve tried quite a few hole-in-the-wall spots and this one is by far the best!

Ok- this place is TRUE MEXICAN food- not Tex Mex! I’m not originally from Texas and have been searching for years for real Mexican food like I grew up with and I finally found the place. Don’t let the dive-y appearance scare you off- it almost did but we decided to just try it and I’m SO glad we did. We loved every single thing that we tried. The chips and salsa were good, chicken enchiladas, carne asada. All of it. So give it a chance because the food will totally be worth it! And the prices are so great too. We will make this our go to place for Mexican food from now on.

Very good food and presentation! Ordered Mi Mexico Enchiladas plate and was not disappointed. The only thing I don’t like is that they cook beans with lard so I get potatoes instead which are tasty and crispy, so overall I am a happy customer! I also like that it is not too salty which is the problem with most other places I have tried in Pflugerville.

So i do come to this place. And there’s certain dishes i get because i know its good and also. Im a very picky eater. So i get nervous to try different things. Sometimes it works out in my favor. Sometimes it doesn’t. I order a pozole and i can tell u it wasn’t not pozole. The flavor was totally a different type of flavor. It didn’t taste like a Mexican pozole. I will definitely say if u are craving for a pozole don’t get it from there. It had more water then harmony and meat. Very disappointed.
