I had the Menudo which is one of the best in town, and it was easy to get a seat with prompt and friendly service. However, their prices are some of the highest in town even with the specials. For that reason alone I’d place Los Jarritos in the middle of the list or Mexican restaurants in town. Not bad, but you can find more bang for your buck elsewhere.

We came here for dinner around 6:15pm on a Saturday evening. We didn’t have to wait for a table because we had the entire restaurant to ourselves.

I don’t know why this had an average rating. It is absolutely delicious. I had the chicken tostadas and my son had the tamales platter. The sauces were amazing ( I like spicy hot so you might ask for mild if you don’t like hot). Chips were fresh and perfect. Would have liked more chips and salsa though. The prices are high compared to Oklahoma but enjoyed our meal.

First place I go to where they charge for chips and salsa… The shiesty part of this is that they immediately bring the chips/salsa to ur table but don’t tell you that u you will be charged. He even brought a second batch without me even asking!!!! After I get the bill n question the charges he stated that they charge for any salsas and don’t provide drink refills, as well. The food wasn’t very good, it’s overly priced and the service was meh. I’m so disappointed with this place.

Got the chicken tacos platter. Tacos were freshly made, had interesting flavor, and were overall very good. Salsa was better than I expected, as I usually don’t care for the thicker red types, but this was tasty. Service was fair, but seemed like I was somewhat ignored. Rice and beans were seasoned well.

Being 100% Greek, I don’t get cravings for Mexican food that often, but in the future when I DO FEEL THE URGE, I have a new place to go…Los Jarritos in the Miracle Mile shopping center isn’t new to Rochester, it’s been there for as long as I can remember, but I don’t recall ever trying it, so I thought it was time! And I was happy I did…The restaurant is larger then it looks from the outside, very accommodating for large groups if needed…Parking is a breeze “at the mile” no matter which establishment you visit, so you don’t have to walk far, great for handicapped folks…Upon arriving, I was greeted promptly, and was asked where I would like to sit, something alot of places DON’T DO, but should…I believe that to enjoy your dining experience 100% you must first be comfortable with your surroundings, as if you were “home”…Freshly made chips and salsa were brought out immediately while I pondered the menu, as was my very authentic “margarita” which by the way was EXCELLENT! If I’m with someone, steak fajitas would have been my choice, but it’s too much food for one person so I went with a Quesadilla, rice and beans, and I patted myself on the back afterwards for an EXCELLENT choice! Everything was “just right”..

Very good food, freshly made and delicious. Chili relleno and steak ranchero were both excellent, as were the chips and salsa. The tables and chairs are beautiful and overall a very pleasant dining experience.

Stumbled onto this place passing through Rochester. I asked the waitress what she recommended and she said the enchiladas.
