Los Jalapeños is Piney Flats is an awesome local Mexican restaurant. Food is great and made fresh. Chimichangas were great. Beef and chicken with beans and salad. Chicken quesadilla was great as well. Very good!

A very good place to eat with a wide variety of Mexican food. Service is quick but not so quick you don’t have time to enjoy the salsa and chips. Beverages from soda to tea and water along with alcohol for those who enjoy it with their food. Prices are good and they are always busy around lunch time. Checkout is a little slow but they are busy and that normally means good food.

Hubby and I both got food poisoning from here tonight. Neither of us can stay out of the restroom (both ends). The food tasted off to both of us. Neither of us finished our meals. He had chimichanga. I had deluxe quesadilla. I think it was the beef. Floor was filthy as well. That should have been a clue……

I’ve been here several times and have never been disappointed. The chorizo queso is amazing! Their margaritas are solid – well balanced (i.e. not just sour mix) with enough alcohol, but not overboard. And their different dishes have all been great! The Pollo Picoso is my favorite, nice and spicy!

Normal Mexican food. Extensive menu with many combo plates. Seems like a large selection of Vegetarian items, but beware of the rice which has chicken stock in it. They do not make plain rice. The refried beans are completely vegetarian thankfully. Fajitas are good. Tamarind soda is nice. Do not order the Horchata because it is too concentrated. Both drinks are humongous. Los Jalapeños is a good place to stop if you are hungry and in the neighborhood. Doubt we’d make a special trip to go there.
