Lifting this shop up in prayer. I would like to share a story. I lived in the neighborhood right behind there when my kiddo was about 7 or 8. My car broke down and we were walking. We popped in there, as we had do from time to time, but this time it was to just get a bite to eat because we were going be late getting to school. My head wasn’t on right and I had left my wallet. It was MY fault, but the owner insisted on us taking the food. Later I came back to pay him back and he had told me that I didn’t have to. It was fine. But I really wanted to pay them back. This shop is an asset in this community, as well as Franklin. These are the values that I see disappearing here in town, my heart was so sad when I saw the place had burned. I hope that you guys come back stronger than ever.

Food is always top notch I wish they had different kind of plates or seasonal food because it’s always the same , overall good food for fair price

What actual Mexican food tastes like. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Go for the real deal and not the Americanized version next door.

Our family gets at least a third of our groceries there, and getting takeout is a highlight of the week. We have family visiting soon and plan to bring them through!

The food has ZERO taste and the prices are a bit higher. A bag of garbanzos at Wal-Mart sales for $3 but a bag of garbanzos in Los Compadres is doble the price $6 dollars!

Get the chicken plate with rice, beans, lettuce and onions … Grab a fresh avacado from the back and make some tacos. Add a topo Chico for that cherry on top

Small Mexican grocery that also serves delicious authentic Mexican food for carry out or eating in the small dining area. Also offers a variety of fresh baked goods. They speak Spanish and English.

One of those cultural hidden treasures. Top shelf authentic Mexican food in the environment of a grocery store. Grab a tall-boy or Topo-Chico and have the Pollo Plate with rice and beans. Sooooo good.
