We just came from West Texas in El Paso, so we were craving some Mexican food and this restaurant came up highly rated. The food was pretty good and hit the craving. The margarita came out extremely fast, and the food came out equally fast. I do wish the chips and salsa were endless though, that would have given this a 5 star review

So many great things to say about this place! My wife and have driven past Los Compadres many times but today we decided to stop and try the place. We were amazed at how well the food tasted and how amazing the staff is! I always order a fajita burrito when I eat at Mexican restaurants but this is now my all time favorite!! We just found our new favorite Mexican restaurant!

Not only was the food amazing but so was the staff. They took really good care of us, made great drinks, and even swept up the road after a crash happened outside the restaurant. Great people and great food. We will definitely be back. Support local business and visit Los Compadres.

Unfortunately the carne asada burrito was not good. The chips and salsa were very good. For two burritos and some salsa was almost $50.00, definitely did not meet my expectation. I will give it another try though.

I ordered a chili rellano for my dinner. I only eat the one with the omlete like recipe. I asked the male waiter how they make there’s. He said they dip the chili in a batter. I said, “no thank you I dislike them made that way. I only want the egg omelet type”. He assured me they can make it the way I like them, so I agreed to order the right recipe. Meantime, I ordered guacamole as a side order. Soon he comes with a dish of a puffy batter dipped rellano. I was not happy and said this is exactly what I don’t want. I took my fork and inspected it saying to him this is not an egg omelet style. He asked if I wanted to see the menu and I said no I’m so disappointed I’ll just eat my guacamole. When I finished I went to the front to pay and asked the cashier what I owed them. She said $11 and some cents. I looked up and said, boy that’s expensive guacamole.” She said , “You sre required to order a meal off the menu or you pay for the chips and salsa.” I went ahead and paid then left. There was no apology for serving me what they wanted when I specifically told the waiter what I wanted. Rude people. I got to thinking… I never saw ANYTHING that said I had to order something I didn’t want when they served me the wrong meal or pay for the chips. Had I known that I would have took home my nearly full basket of chips! Be back? NO

My husband and I just ate here today for the first time. I liked their yummy mushroom pickled salsa that came with our tortilla chips. Yum! Service was friendly and quick. I ordered the chicken enchilada & a beef taco combo, and my husband ordered a chili relleno and chicken burrito combo. There were delicious! Margaritas were awesome and good sized too. My husband had it on the rocks and I had mine blended just like we requested. If we’re ever in Tenino again, we’ll be baaack. 🙂

Do not get the seafood burrito. The taste was way off when I had it, and honestly stopped eating halfway through. It was like it was cooking all day and so I left it to be tossed. (Update) got food poisoning as did my brother who ate with me. Though others at my table were fine.
