This restaurant has a warm, friendly atmosphere. We were waited on right away. Ordered breakfast. Mine was menudo with a bean and bacon taco on the side. Fantastic! Her choice was migas. Very good as well. This restaurant is very authentic. We will be back.

Food was good. I liked how you could pick which salsa to go with your chips from the squeeze containers brought to the table. No waste. Had the chicken breast ala Mexicana. Plenty of food for the price. If you don’t like whole jalapeños, let them know to leave it off. Overall, a great little place. Will come again.

Confused about the reviews. We went for breakfast this morning. It was disgusting. Dry tortillas, eggs weren’t edible. The refried beans were the strangest I have ever seen. The flavors were either old or something else. We would rate it no stars if we could.

This place is INCREDIBLE! After spending a day in San Antonio and being underwhelmed with the food, we found this place driving home to Houston. It’s a tiny, family owned restaurant serving the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Texas!! The chilaquiles live up to the name! Service was great, lots of food, homemade amazing tortillas. So so so good. My fiancé had the barbacoa and it was awesome! Honestly, with the quality that goes into this food I’m sure everything on their menu is incredible! Please do yourself a favor and come to this restaurant!!!!

So, I’m just a generic white guy, but I live in DFW (tons of good Mexican food) and I love Mexican food, so Ive had a ton of it. I have to say that this is the best Mexican food I have ever had. The service was very good, but the food for all 8 people I was traveling with was amazing. I will drive back down (about 3 hours} just to eat here, it is that good.

Good tacos, haven’t tried their plates. Only breakfast tacos. But reasonable prices and always fresh. Never had reheated tortillas, always freshly made.

More on the Mex side of TexMex, this place is terrific. The effort they put into making great food is much appreciated, and will be enough to pull me off of I-10 next time I’m passing by. Don’t miss the house-made corn tortillas!

Visiting family from out of town and we decide to go here for the first time. First of all too many flies. I had machaca which I have had many times in many places, but, this selection was like scrambled eggs with hard beef jerky. I ate very little of it and left it. Don’t live there so I don’t have to worry about going back but if I did live there I still wouldn’t go back. But the prices were a little higher also.

The restaurant was small but food was fabulous and hot. Tacos are HUGE so beware. Chilaquiles are really good. Well done
