First time trying this restaurant and I give it 5 stars for the quality of food. As a Mexican myself, this food hits right at home and feels and tastes authentic. It was a tad bit slow to get my food but I am not sure if it was busy in the kitchen so I am not too upset about that. Overall, I will visit again as I live just down the street.

Really yummy place. Great service. They have a lot of different snacks from different parts of the world. I had the al pastor tacos and they were really good. Also had the fries which come with a very interesting green sauce. It was good though! Highly recommend them & they have an ice cream spot next door. Pretty awesome.

A great Guatemalan food place… I live for food and trying new restaurants. This place is good, the staff are friendly and very helpful if you don’t understand what’s on the menu. I had the typical steak tacos…because if you can’t make a good steak taco, I wouldn’t even come back to try something else off the menu.

Wanted some pulpusas one morning so I Googled in my area. We ordered 5 pulpusas which took about 25mins to make ( there was only 1 other table). Since it took so long we thought it was going to be good as they were fresh. We were disappointed when we started eating. Lacked flavor and the filling was minimum and all bread. Will not go back.

Part of my upbringing occured in Guatemala, and finding this place in the Midwest was incredibly fortunate for me considering how difficult it can be to find authentic Guatemalan cooking. Best of all, every time I go, I get to satisfy my craving for homemade tortillas. Anytime I travel to Chicago, I plan around my visit here.
