My spouse and I had a great experience today here with our neighbors, coworkers, and friends. It was very memorable—with great flavors and service! I’m a vegetarian and my spouse is a carnivore—with great food options for both. Everything with our group turned out great. Highly recommend their chilaquiles. Having previously lived in Mexico, this place has authentic cuisine. We’ll continue to come back, again and again.

I saw really high reviews and an overall high rating so I thought it’d be excellent, but the food was really just OK. I was starving so I ate most of my meal, but the flavor was just meh. I was surprised the reviews were so high. My mom had ordered a seafood soup and that was pretty meh as well. she only ate about half of it. The food looked really good but yea the flavor wasn’t matching the appearance. The chips and salsa you get before ordering were actually bad though, pretty stale and burnt oil flavored chips, and the salsa i don’t know if it was just store bought or what but the flavor just wasn’t good. It wasn’t like a salsa you eat with chips it looked and tasted more like a salsa you serve warm with shredded chicken or something. Idk. overall not great not horrible.

Despite being incredibly busy, this restaurant accommodated our party without any problems. Although the service was slow, and there were a few mix-ups with our order or what was and wasn’t available, the staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. I highly recommend trying their gorditas and fajitas—they were particularly enjoyable. I also had a delightful rum and horchata drink. The green salsa added an extra layer of flavor to our dishes. However, I do hope that in the future, they reconsider their pricing for a side of sour cream and homemade corn tortillas, as they seemed a bit overpriced.

I had high expectations since this was a highly rated place. But to my taste, it is a pretty average place, some plates are good and others are well below average. Nothing here seemed tasty. Went with a family of 6 so we ordered a variety of plates and the best thing was probably the shrimp cocktail.

We had been seeing this spot in the corner for a while now and finally got the chance to try it. It was honestly solid. The carne asada on the fries was tender, which surprised me. An improvement on the fries would be to not go so easy on the toppings. When I think of papas locas or carne asada fries, I always think loaded up fries, like an excessive amount. But definitely one of the better fries here in the east coast that I’ve had. The burrito had chicken and steak and it was also good. There was a sauce in the burrito that I wish they had put more of on it. But the rice and beans with the meat, complimented each other well. I didn’t have any of the birria pizza but my friends enjoyed it. Service was pretty good as well, and this was around closing time. Ambiance was nice too but some Latin music would’ve improved the vibes even more.

Great authentic Mexican spot in Arlington! I tried their mole with a combo of beef, chicken, and cheese. Very good. I also had a jalapeño margarita which was very fresh tasting, not too spicy and one of the best I’ve ever had. But with a $15 pricetag… Same price as my meal. I wish the drinks were more affordable. Maybe for happy hour to have a bit cheaper of a drink. Really looking forward to coming back to try their birria platter! Service was also great, friendly staff at the bar. And chips and salsa are free with your food, which is becoming more rare in this area. Seating area is a bit small so I suspect during busy times, it might be a wait.

The worst service ever, me and my friend went to eat Wednesday 21. It was our second time going there because we really like it but this time we were eating a pizza birria and we found a hair between the slice of the pizza. We tell the server about it and he was very sarcastic with us, he came back and told us that the “kitchen manager” said it was a piece of onion I took a picture and we show it the picture but they really didn’t care about. So me and my friend ended up paying the whole pizza even we didn’t finish the pizza birria.

Having lived in Mexico most of my life, I can say this is one of the most authentic (and delicious) Mexican places in the DMV area. Visited once and ordered take out several times, and it never disappoints. If you dine in, the place is quaint, with a low-key Mexican cantina vibe and savory food.

The Birria pizza here is to die for! The portion was huge, good to split between 2-3 people. The food is authentic. The restaurant is very well decorated and the service was great!

Found the place on a Friday night; we called in advance to check if there was any table available for 2, as well if parking was available (behind the 7-Eleven, they suggest you to park).
