Yummy yummy yummy is all I can say. The food was searched quickly and with a smile. The staff was very friendly and happy to assist with anything we needed. Came for lunch and the price were on par. If you’re in the area this is a great choice if you’re looking for a Mexican dish. Will be back for sure and look forward to trying something different every time. Happy travels all!

Not what we expected from a Mexican restaurant. Didn’t realize they only had two booths. The rest were tables. Asked for one of the booths, our daughter that was with us has anxiety and it helps her to sit at booths rather than in the middle of a room. The girl hesitated but finally agreed. I thanked her twice. She wasn’t really caring I did. I thanked the waitress as well, which I think was the girl’s Mom and she was like ok. Well… excuse us!

Read the great reviews and went for dinner on a Saturday night. It was quite busy. There are no longer any taps, so no pitchers. Food came fairly quickly and was ok. Not special, not bad, just ok. Service was kind of scrambled and it took quite awhile to get our check, but it was a busy Saturday. Here’s the menu.

This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area aside from Los Portales. If you’re in Aurora, definitely eat here. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious. The service can be hit or miss as they don’t have a very large staff since it’s a small restaurant. So just expect that but also expect for your food to be hot and fresh. Don’t expect to drive up to a fancy Mexican restaurant but do expect to drive up to an older building with charm. Be grateful that the restaurants are growing in Aurora and in the lakes area and also be grateful that the restaurants are trying to get back on their feet after Covid. My family loves this place! That’s all I can say. I love their Chile’s Poblanos so that’s what I ALWAYS order. I drive to Aurora just to get them and it’s a 20 minute drive for me.

Personally, I am not someone that gives very many places 5 stars. I feel like there is always some area that they can improve on. However, this place was perfect. When we arrived, there was nobody inside, which we originally took as a bad sign. However, we were greeted by a very nice young man. Upon arriving, we also noticed how clean the place was. It even smelled clean. Chips & salsa were delicious. I ordered the Especial de la Casa and was very satisfied with my meal. My partner ordered the Shrimp Chimichanga and he enjoyed it also. Waiter kept our drinks full and was extremely nice. Prices were actually decent, too! Our original bad thoughts were distinguished almost instantly. We will definitely be back here! Keep up the great work!

6 of us went here for dinner. Pictured is my shrimp chimichanga, which was amazing. My son’s steak chimichanga and his girlfriend’s fish tacos were also great. My grandson’s Taco shells were stale, but in this humidity, it’s hard to keep those fresh. They quickly resolved it by bringing warm tortillas for soft tacos, which he was happy with. The service was decent and the margaritas were good and the beer cold. I might gave given more stars, but they brought my son’s girlfriend’s a jumbo margarita when she ordered a regular, which was more expensive, the stale Taco shells and my husband said the fajitas could have had more flavor, but luckily he ordered the fajita special that included chorizo in the mix, which added some more spice. All in all we were satisfied and would definitely go back.

I ordered ground beef tortas no tomatoes, nacho los amigo no tomatoes. Got home the tortas was steak and had tomatoes, the nachos had tomatoes when I called the said the cook said he didn’t put tomatoes they told me bring the food back and they will make it over. It’s storming like crazy and it’s 8 miles away. I’m not about to drive back in the storm. I won’t be ordering or eating there again since I have a allergy reactions to tomatoes and they don’t understand what no tomatoes means

I got enchiladas and mole sauce most definitely was not mole sauce it tasted like spaghetti-o sauce with taco seasoning the rice was dry and tasted like box rice my son got a kids burrito stop playing and it was covered in marinara sauce… I will never eat here again…

This place was awesome from their chips and salsa to their burritos, steaks to their sweet tea and our server was on point with a ready smile from the moment we walked in the door. The restroom (women’s anyway) was very clean and stocked with supplies.
