Cute Mexican restaurant. Plenty parking. No need reservations. Host/waitress is very nice and great service. Food was ok but not great. I felt needed a little more flavor. Good prices.

We came here for dinner & were surprised not many people were there around just before 6pm on a Friday night. We sat ourselves as instructed by the waitress, to unfortunately sit in a booth that was apparently just cleaned & the booth seats were still soaked. We ended up with wet pants. We figured out there was only one server which was fine, she was really nice. Our food took quite awhile (2 very small items). The food had no flavor what so ever, only thing was the guacamole & salsa for our chips. We were definitely disappointed which is a bummer since we had not been here before. Hopefully it was just a off night and maybe we will try again in the future.

A really nice lunch today. The food was fresh and the service was prompt and friendly. As well, the prices were reasonable… All boxes checked. I don’t normally hang out in Shingle Springs, but I will likely change my future plans just to eat here again. Likely, I will even make a special trip… Good stuff!

This place is a family favorite! There is no wait and we quickly get seated(we usually have a big party) We get served delicious chips and salsa. The food is very good and out of the many times we’ve eaten there, none of us had ever had a bad plate. The portions are huge with reasonable prices. Cute atmosphere, and nice employees. A favorite and a definite place to go

I ordered the beef enchiladas combo today and it was good. However, it was made with not much beef. It was also very drippy. It’s not supposed to be like this. At least, the dessert was really good. It was baked ice cream with dribbling chocolate served in a taco shell. I just wish the server would have known how to balance drinks and the meals on a server plate! She kept coming back with each plate, one at a time.

Nice staff. Not busy, went on a Sunday trip to Apple Hill. Had the “steak fajita salad.” It was very good. They serve chips and salsa first, any refills for them they charge extra. My son had the “wet burrito” which he said was very good. Prices are fair for portion sizes, and service was great. Bonus, there is a cute garden/ gift shop next door. It’s way bigger than it looks from the outside. Lots of cute stuff!
