Some of the fastest and most efficient service I have ever had at any restaurant. The steak, chicken, and shrimp came out piping got along with another plate filled with condiments, rice and beans. It was delicious. Great dinner!

My husband went here to get a much needed bite to eat after a 14-hour day of work. The staff was very racist and rude to my husband. They were talking trash in Spanish, thinking that he wouldn’t understand. Surprise! He understood. The owner was called and showed up to offer a complementary margarita. This would have been nice. However, my poor husband got food poisoning from this place. Please avoid this place. I’m sure anywhere else would be better.

Gem of a place. Don’t turn away by the outside looks of the place. It is really nice inside with very good lighting ambiance. Staff is very nice and friendly. Food was served in no time, freshly prepared from fresh ingredients. An excellent choice for travelers.

All I can say is WOW!!! I had both a standard and a mango margarita along with one of their ground beef tacos with all the goodies. It was the fattest taco that I have had in a very long time, super delicious and stuff was very nice and the food was great you got to drop in and give them a try!

Food was the best I have had in a very long time, I gave 4 stars because I had to flag someone down to get a refill on my tea. I had chicken fajitas and a bowl of Mexican cheese dip(aka white queso).

I’ve been coming here for years. I always get the molcajete, it’s delicious! They also have yummy yellow corn tortillas. The staff are nice and friendly. Truck parking available.

This was the first time we ate here and it was very good. A handful of draft beers and a large selection of food with specials. We had the chicken quesadilla and shrimp enchiladas, both were very good. The service was friendly and quick. We’ll definitely stop again.

We found this little gem of a restaurant across the street from Love’s gas station after my husband and I fueled up and OMG!! This is seriously some authentic mexican food for a state like Illinois! Lol I got the dos amigos plate and my husband got the Pollo Feliz. SO FREAKING GOOD! we will be back next time we fuel up in this area, for sure. We also really enjoyed the waiter’s friendly hospitality despite he was the only one tending to other customers and the place was SO clean. Highly recommend!!!
