The food is almost always amazing. I’m used to Mexican food in Southern Texas/Mexico so have become a little picky. I was thrilled when I found this restaurant here! Their spicy salsa is so delicious. Mexico City Tacos are definitely a favorite. The employees are always nice and attentive.

Oh how I love Spanish food.. There’s nothing like a good authentic Mexican restaurant. Where do I start, I love their fajita! They bring the meat and veggies to you from a steaming skillet. The Mexican steak is also a good selection. I would also recommend the fish tacos or queso dip as well.

Ahoskie’s city slogan is ‘the only one’, as is this mex-food restaurant; the only one in about 20 miles! The food is certainly good for the area, service is good, and the atmosphere is about what one might expect for the region, but better than most others so I applaud them for trying harder. Burritos and Carne Asada were quite tasty.

The food was good, I got the fajita nachos. They gave a generous amount of queso which was great. The margaritas were a little weak. Usually if I drink a jumbo margarita I’m buzzed but this was like drinking juice, it was no use in ordering another one. The bathrooms were clean. The restaurants looks a bit shady on the outside due to the location however it’s beautifully decorated and clean on the inside.

My expectations were not met at this restaurant. The atmosphere was good, but our waiter didn’t seem to understand us very well. The tortilla chips that were brought out were cold and stale. We sent the chips back, and he brought them back warm, but still stale. The rice was awful. It looked dry and clumpy tasted bad.

Food was pretty good. This is a small town Mexican restaurant. The kind that puts way too many items on their menu and you’re looking at a 5 page book in small print. Service was fast and polite. The enterior was redone like 10 years ago…. the food was good but was the average Mexican/ American restaurant.
