Arrived at restraunt and figured I’d give it a try as last establishment had great food and service. We arrived and were greeted to sit anywhere . We sat Down and where giving Menus right away along with Chips and two Salsas , to which both where really good. Waiter came back to take our drinks order as there was 3 other tables with guests. Waiter returned took our order . By the way both waiters where very friendly.

Called in and ordered “coco enamorado” and a Torta de milanesa. Got home my Torta was missing the coco was old it was horrible it smelled. Then had to go back for the Torta and that was bad too nothing but beans and I payed $60+ won’t go back.

My first time back here under new ownership. I grew up eating here and the food was some of the best in SR. Other than the salsa (delicious/spicy/well-seasoned) my enchiladas rojas were a major disappointment. The sauce was like watered-down tomato sauce + some thickener. Service was very good. May go back to try another dish and hope that one will be better but very much missing my old La Plaza ☹️
