It’s easy to find an “Italian sub” but less easy to find a really good Italian sub. What’s almost impossible to find is a Fiorentina focaccia sandwich let alone a great Fiorentina focaccia sandwich but Lorenzo is just that. We had the namesake Lorenzo, the Zola, and the pesto fusilli and all three were fantastic. The Lorenzo was light and delicious, the Zola was salty (in a good Italian cold cut way) and complex. The pasta was some of the best I have had outside of Italy and certainly the best outside of a fine Italian dining establishment. We will be back soon because I can’t wait to try their prosciutto and salamino sandwiches. Get here early because the word is already out and it gets crowded. Buon appetito.

Fabulous sandwich in BH. The best quality ingredients. Not cheap but it’s worth it! I’ll be back for sure. You won’t find anything better in LA.

Delicious food (we tried prosciutto sandwich), large portions and very friendly owners. The focaccia bread is one of the best i have tasted.

Honestly, had all the sandwiches in LA of the “hot spots.” Their sandwiches are unique and everything just tastes super fresh. If you want an authentic italian sandwich experience, this is it. I go for the special crudo, YES.

We were at Lorenzo for lunch today. My daughter and I had the Capotana, my son in law had Giardiniera. We cannot forget to mention the chocolate cake and oh so yummy chocolate mousse. We walked out of the shop very satisfied with the yummy food. The owners were very attentive. I would like to recommend Lorenzo %. We will be back

Same amazing tastes of Italy. We took 3 different sandwiches and one meal of pasta. And all were perfectly made.

Wonderful addition to a very shallow pool of local, artisan sandwich shops. The authenticity of these sandwiches is superior to anything I have had in Los Angeles.

The bread was the only turnoff for me in these sandwiches. after trying multiple sandwiches the only reason the sandwich is not incredible is due to the facts the bread is not great quality, if the bread was better quality and warmed up it would be perfect and worth the price
