First time visiting Lords which everyone tells me is legendary in Sanford. Not the cheapest of meals but was very good. I had the grilled haddock and a side of green beans as I am diabetic and fried food is not on my agenda at the present time.

We ordered takeout. I had lobster stew and seafood scampi. Both were excellent. The scampi is enough for two people and the stew was loaded with lobster. My husband had the whole belly clams and 7 cheese Mac and cheese also very good. Their coke slaw in my opinion is the best around. Prices are reasonable and service was very friendly

When Lords Restaurant in Wells closed we were all devastated. But then Pam went ahead and gifted us with this fantastic new venue called Lords Clam Box. She runs this place like a well oiled machine- management plus. Sparkling clean, red white and black, the Box doesn’t disappoint. My Fried Clam Dinner was superb. The batter light and golden, my “ clam candy” was a delight to eat. Crispy shoestrings on the side with the famous Pineapple Cole Slaw. My friend had the broiled combo Haddock n Scallops. So ridiculously tender and succulent. She opted for a side of steamed broccoli. Please go here and eat. You will thank me.

I have high standards for fried clams, with Farnham’s in Essex Massachusetts being a perfect 10. This place is very close. The clams are tender and not over breaded and the oil used for frying is fresh. They also have very nice people working in there and they keep the place immaculate.

Felt like the five guys of sea food. The food was well priced, good quantity, and I didn’t leave feeling like poo from eating fried food. It was very clean and the food was fast! Highly recommend, I know I’ll be coming back with my family
