This is not a place you might think of when you want some catfish, but let me tell you, it was sooo good! The fish was fresh and the seasoned breading so crisp. And the hush puppies some of the best I’ve had. Absolutely delicious. Thank you Laredo!

We stopped in on the way home to Kansas City during a one-day round trip to the area. What a great surprise. Catfish, po’ boy, and fried green tomatoes were great. Disappointed our to-go platter was missing the hush puppies, but we had to get on the road and didn’t go back to ask for them. Fries were just standard crinkle cut. No complaints, but nothing special. But the catfish more than made up for it. Fresh and seasoned and breaded beautifully. We’ll be back if ever in the area again.

Steak was WAY over cooked. I ask for medium and it came out completely brown in the middle and very dry. My husband said his burger was good. Alittle disappointed bc I’ve heard great things about this place.

You ever heard that term “looks can be deceiving” because if so, it definitely applies to this place. I must admit, I’ve heard of and have seen this place previous to my visit but never thought much of it and never bothered to stop by because, well because of the way it seems based on the outside appearance. For the price of about 15$ a person I would have preferred my whole table get their food at the same time not half the table getting there then 15.mins the rest of the table gets there food. The server couldn’t have looked less happy to be working let alone taking the order and bringing it to the table. This place is not what it used to be and hope that they make some changes to make it a better dining experience.
