My best friend and I met for lunch & had a wonderful time. The drinks were very tasty. And the food was deliciously outstanding!

Such a cute restaurant. Was hard to get a reservation but they accepted us as walkins. The service was great. The manager saw that our dessert came looking not that great and she went to get us a fresh one without us even asking. Entrees were delicious too. Their patio is very aesthetic and perfect on a cool summer evening

Every time we come here we have a very enjoyable meal. Very romantic, well staffed, great drinks and fantastic food. More room outside than in, but you have to watch the weather. Had a brilliant fish last time and a very unique fried oyster deviled egg. Was unsure of the combination at first, but it tasted incredible.

Extremely overpriced, $16 margarita mostly ice, tiny appetizer portions, Quail was mostly all fat, out of stock on many items even kid’s chicken tenders & a dessert cocktail we looked forward to. We went on Mother’s Day with a special very limited menu & the whole place was dead at 1:00pm yet still no parking. $20 (refundable) deposit per person required for reservations. Very disappointed. The eggplant Parm was great though, as were the fried olives. We paid $450 for 6 people not including tip so expect to break the bank if you want to come here with your family & enjoy an appetizer, entree, dessert & cocktail.

The food here is pretty amazing. Met the chef. He describes his creations that make your mouth water. He’s definitely and artist. I’ll definitely head back here for a meal. It seems that Wimberly has attracted some serious restaurant talent and this is one of those places.

Probably the best food we’ve ever had in the Wimberley/ San Marcos/ New Braunfels area (35+ years). The food was very well prepared, plated, and paired. The bass special with risotto and asparagus was done to perfection. Drinks were excellent with similar attention to detail and execution. Wimberley is lucky to have Longleaf in the community.

First time in Wimberley celebrating 2 birthdays. It was VERY hot outside, so nice and cool at the nice bar. The cocktails were pretty and tasty and the bartenders were fun to talk to. Decided to eat dinner there instead of walking in the heat so we got a table, that was our mistake. The deviled eggs appetizer were great. I hadn’t had Quail in years, this one was so tiny, mostly stuffing. I’m petite, yet I was still hungry so I ate some of my husbands fish. Fish tasted plain. My friend’s burger wasn’t cooked as she asked, only ate half. We ordered Creme Brulee dessert and the pudding wasn’t as tasty and the topping was a little too crispy. I regret not going where we were supposed to go for dinner.

Every time we come here, the food is always excellent. We love seeing the Chef come out and check on everyone, as well as the same bartenders making our drinks. They have a great group of folks here which in turn results in an amazing dining experience each time. As big foodies, we love the unique menu they always have to offer and how fresh everything always is! Keep up the great work y’all. Can’t wait to go back soon!
