I don’t understand the hype surrounding this restaurant and am surprised that it has a high rating. My family and I came here for dinner after exploring the national park. There were two big groups waiting outside, so I went in to put my name on the wait list only to find that they don’t have/use/keep one (like, what?). I asked how they knew who was waiting for what and the bartender said “we just remember they’re outside.” I asked if the tables were basically first come, first serve and he basically said yes. Then I asked how would I know if a/my table was available for my party of four (since there was no host or waiting list) and he summarized that I would have to come back into the restaurant (periodically) to check if a table was available.

Wonderful little restaurant across from the Summersville lake overlook. We stopped after riding The Talon on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Service was quick and our waitress friendly. We started with the Buffalo dip cam out bubbling hot, and it was creamy, cheesy goodness. Could have used a bit more chicken, but other than that it was spot on. For our mains, we opted for the daily special of potato soup with grilled cheese and the Spicy Hawaiian pizza. The potato soup was hearty and was well seasoned. The grilled cheese was tasty and oozed American cheese. My pizza was delicious. Spicy isn’t a word I would choose to describe it though. It was kind of sweet, but I love it. I added some red pepper flakes to spice it up a bit. The hot honey garlic drizzle was very garlicky. I will add this note: they charge extra for everything. It was 11.47 for a bowl of soup with cheese, and sour cream (each an additional charge) and the grilled cheese. That’s a bit pricey in our opinion, but not enough to deter us from going back.

Food was ok nothing great had rib eye .which was a big steak but was no rib eye . First bit of my daughters food she pulled out this long hair from her mouth that caused others at are table to be grossed out and not eat. Took to the kitchen to show and no one wearing hair nets. Food was served on cheap plastic plates that had chips on the side. Not how I like to eat dinner when eating out.

Just ate here for seafood Thursday and everything was great. The service was friendly and fast. I reccomend the crab dip, it was amazing and a good portion for the money. Also the mixed drinks we ordered were perfect for a hot day! Thanks again, we’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area.

Our server was fantastic and the food was great. I had the Long Point burger, it was juicy and delicious while my wife had the shrimp which were cooked perfectly. It was a really nice lunch on a rainy day. Ooh also, the fries are awesome!

The bartender was excellent. My wife took me for a fathers dinner and not receiving any food for an hour paid for our beers and canceled food order. Currently having a turkey sandwich for my meal. Not sure what happened but think the cook walked out. Anyway that was my experience

The food was absolutely delicious. The hour and a half wait on our meal that was not so good. The server stopped coming to our table and checking on us after we asked how much longer and only checked on our food after we asked for the check, 30 min after asking how much longer, for the drinks and we were leaving. Not going there again.
