Only one of 2 locations I know of that are still open (LJS). Drove across town just for the fish was tasty as always just need old tarter sauce back. The new one taste too much like mayo the other had more of a tangy vinegar taste. Place wasn’t the cleanest but not a mess either. Wish LJS came back with more locations.

I will NEVER go to this location again. I’ve never had fish where the breading was so greasy, so over cooked that the breading would not even stick to the fish, it just peaked off the fish. It was so bad my husband wanted to leave right away and get out money back and neither of us could finish our food. No one needs cooking like that. It was so gross. The best think about this yucky trip was looking at the moon.

We were excited to be there because we hadn’t been in several years. The first problem we ran into is they did not have any chicken which was a disappointment. But, by far, the worst thing was the lack of courteous customer service. A person in our group had ordered pop and it was out of service so she let them know. All they said is we can’t fix it. It would have been nice to know that before buying the drink. There were several problems in the staff was absolutely worthless in trying to help.

This business needs to confront the older woman working the drive through today, 8/21/23 at 4:45pm. She was very rude, unhelpful, and cut me off about 3 times while I was giving my order or responding to her questions. She was so eager and quick to give me bad news or put me in my place you would have no idea she was in customer service. Why would a service worker who has received nothing but kindness and respect from their patron treat a paying customers like this?! We are contributing to the business which contributes to her livelihood, I don’t understand why being ugly to someone would benefit you in any way. You should want to make positive experiences for your customers to promote repeat business to keep a job! This woman had the opposite effect on me. I wish I had the patience to write down the entire transaction/conversation, you would be baffled.

went on Sunday before memorial day .. wanted to get the 26$ fish chicken family meal on the ljs menu .. was told they only had chicken so I got chicken hush puppies fries & and mash potatoes.. was told to pull around while the hush puppies cooked.. told dude at window please give me a lot of ketchup .. he said he’ll make sure he did .. well I parked next to another person that was waiting on food. guy comes out with my meal walks to her car gives her the 8pc family meal I ordered.. after he clearly asked if she had the 8pc piece and she said, “Yes, but I’m missing my drinks”..

So the food is always great, im so glad there is a long john silvers. My complaint is that the container for the clams is different every time. Like in a little tray wrapped in a bag one time, also the portion sizes of clams is very different every time. But that’s of they even have clams. But other than that, the food is delicious, service is fast. Still honestly just happy there is a long john silvers. They are pretty much nowhere anymore.

Sometimes it’s the little things that ruin an experience. The food was good/as expected but seems like the store needs better upkeep of consumables. Only one hand sanitizer dispenser in the restaurant and it was empty. Couldn’t wash my hand due to an injury so I needed hand sanitizer and they confirmed they don’t have any, had to get some from my truck. Ketchup dispenser was empty. The Mountain dew soda was empty. So just kinda annoying 3 things I wanted weren’t available during my visit.

Ordered the 3 piece chicken tenders and 2 fish platter with fries and the food was great. But, it seems like I was given the new unheard special Long John Silvers chicken nuggets. The chicken was pretty much the same size as the hush puppies. Smdh. What a joke. Disappointed in how the staff handled this.
